You mean Off-Road or trucks in general?

Either way I pick Rebel.

The Bison. It looks good, carries 6 people and is pretty fast for a truck. The downside is its offroad capability.

Bison is great, but game says its a VAN.... so realize this before throwing on off road tires and thinking it can take it... it cant.  Seating 6 is great, and its clearly the best looking truck that isnt a monster truck.

Just sold my Sandking (never used) for a Karin Rebel....and there's no way I'm looking back. That truck is awesome.

Not sure I needed a $30K paint job on a baja truck, but, whatever, looks sick.

Depends on what you plan on doing with it.

If you want to go over mountains, the SandKing XL is wicked.

If you want speed, I'd recommend the new bifta, not a truck but a great offroad racing vehicle.

If you want fun and a mix of the two above, go for a clean rebel.

If you want a badass durable and fairly fast truck, go for the canis bhodi.

The Ratloader, Rebel and Bobcat XL are my favorite. Ratliader just looks rugged and sexy, as does the Rebel. And the Bobcat XL is just a big ol' hauling truck.

If you wanna buy one tho, Rebel ftw.

This entirely depends on your definition of "truck" in GTAV standards. There is no Truck class, but multiple trucks are split throughout the classes. The Picador (truck-esque) and Rat Loader are in the Muscle Class. Many are in the Off-Road class, including the Sandking variants and Rebel variants. The Bravado Bison is classed as a Van. The Vapid Sadler is classed under Utility vehicles.

Because they are spread among the classes, it is very difficult to determine which one is best.

I personally favor the Patriot.

If only it was updated to be modeled on the H3 Alpha.  Or reverted back to its H1 roots.

That thing is a big boxy beast yes.  Tons of cover to use during a fire fight, climbs well, has fantastic approach and departure angles, impressive suspension travel.  Climbs fairly well too.

My only qualm with all trucks and SUV's is that they are not actually 4x4.  I've played with damn near everything, save for the Bison and Kalahari offroad, and each one you can test for yourself.  High center it on a rock with the rear wheels off the ground so only the front touch, floor it and see the front wheels do absolutely nothing, even if they spin, they apparently are not coded to be "power" wheels.

Also the ridiculous notion of the TRACTION stat makes the premise of off road vehicles kinda moot.  Since sports and supers have the "best" traction stat, an Entity will outclimb any suv or truck, even the sandking, which has the largest suspension travel and largest knobby tires, it's traction stat is very low, which coupled with the very awkward concept of vehicle mass in this game, means you can get driven under and spun out by any tool with a sports car, but it wont climb a hill to save its life.

I love my Sandking XL but I also love my Merryweather Messa.I couldn't pick between them. I'm not a super car person. I have one for the sake of having one. I love my trucks and my sports cars.

No.  It doesnt.

Neither does the Sandking.  Or the Merryweather Mesa despite having obvious front differentials.

Yes it does. Drive up to a telephone pole on dirt. Put the front bumper against it and hit the gas. All four tires spin.

The sand king doesn't though, not sure on the Mesa.

I'll do some testing today with all of them.

Neither Mesa nor Sandking are 4 wheel drive. Such a shame. It would make Sandking the true king. Bodhi has the power and 4x4, but not enough clearance.

I pick Rebel. Wish it had a little more power.

A few facts:

Rebel's bullbars offer no protection, but they look awesome.

There is no difference in performance between shiny and rusty Rebels.

I've got the rusty Rebel suited up as a baja style off roader....but want a clean Rebel as well. Any tips on where to locate?

I thought driving around the rusty Rebel would pop them up but have had no luck yet.

You are incorrect on the performance aspect between the rusty Rebel and non-rusted Rebel. The non-rusted Rebel has better acceleration and top speed than the rusty Rebel, however the rusty one offers slightly better handling.
