I know all the speed upgrades duh but what does adding the carbon parts and spoilers/suspension stuff do? I usuaully slap it on whenever its available with no second though to it lol

So what mods actually affect a cars performance?

I keep carbon parts off if they dont look better than stock, that said I have heard (unconfirmed) that carbon parts increase stats, possibly acceleration.. and that for example the type of rim you put on your car will change your handling - being their tires are all different treads based on class of rim.

suspension makes it so you won't flip over as easily, but i'm not sure if the other cosmetics actually do anything

Brakes weren't mentioned but I assume everyone knows what upgrading those does, right?
Putting speed stripes makes the car go faster.
Painting your car any shade of brown makes it go slower.

Painting your car hot pink will give your car magnetic properties.
Bullets will FIND you.

- engine, turbo and possibly transmission
- suspension and tires are debatable ... some say yes and some say no
- braking impacts performance but in such a minor way it hardly matters
- everything else aero and weight related is just comestic, including all body and wheel changes
On a budget - engine & turbo and your done.

wheels/tires have no effect....
high-end performance=muscle performance
