how cool would this DLC be, a fallout style one with blown up buildings and mutants and online you have to basically survive with your crew and have to fight other crews for supplies and move into different camps instead of apartments

That sounds about as fitting as a DLC based on flying a spaceship to the goddamned moon.

Yeah it is okayish but GTA isn't the game for that IMO.

I would personally like it if it is well done, with campfires and such.

That would be so epic if done right, unfortunately I don't think rockstar has what it takes to create a true survival apocalypse.

Just like how undead nightmare was just action without any element of survival whatsoever, which in my opinion is what makes a good apocalypse game.

Maybe it would be interesting, but it does not suit GTA's style imo.

I would like to see a separate open world post apocalypse game by R. I this special on the History channel called After Armageddon about a pandemic that wiped out most people and how the world coped after that and it would be interesting to see that concept in an open world game.

I think rockstar could do a good survival maybe a nukes Los santos is a bit over the top but a proper zombie survival with our crews would be great

This is actually one of the better ideas someone has came up with on this site. Usually its "ME WANT ZOMBIEZ", "ME WANT ALIENZ" or "ME WANT KILLA CLOWNZ." Lol, but anyways, It sounds interesting, but like others have stated, It doesn't fit Rockstar's style. :/

Obviously their aim was never to create a survival game.

Tbh, it should be like UN. I just don't like much the survival thingy. "I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. I'm tired", f*ck that sh*t. I always found that too annoying and no fun at all.

I just want a new Fallout. GTA isn't really the game for this.

Hopefully the Mad Max game won't suck. That could nail the post apocalypse wasteland and offer vehicles, which Fallout never will do.

That would be an entirely different game...It isnt like TBOGT or TLAD where you add a new story those were pretty big, but in this you're chaning the timecycle, the sky, the buildings, the ped modesl and behavior, adding new elements to the game that just wouldn't be imaginable for a DLC.

I also wanted vehicles in Fallout, but what would be the point?

The whole main point of Fallout is to explore the Wasteland, not to rush through it.

I'd rather they keep it vehicle-less, probably just add some rideable horses, but that's it.

How to make a Fallout with vehicles that doesn't have the player "rush" through the game:

-Create a larger Fallout world than ever before

-Make the vehicles slow, rare, difficult to acquire and maybe make most terrain difficult to traverse

I'd rather Rockstar have a go at a fully fleged nuclear apocalypse title than a DLC for V tbh.

Fallout 4 would be the game for this.

But of course, its a good idea but i don't think it fits with: GTA.

I personally think that GTA should stick to crimes and cars.
However, I do think that Rockstar should do their own standalone zombie/mutant game. It would be beautiful and fun and they wouldn't have to worry about complaints that it "wasn't GTA".

Proof the game would be kickass: Can you use a cargobob to drop a Sandking on a horde of zombies/mutants in any other game? No.
