"They changed everything that it is GTA. Changing the radar from circle to square"

The new radar let's us see more of the map, thus making it better for getting around.

"cycling weapons with the trigger to a big cycle screen"

Makes selecting your weapon much easier and faster than the previous systems

"the Arcady stats screen after you beat a mission"

We had this in The Ballad of Gay Tony.

"gta is going down the toilet"

No it isn't. That's just your opinion, and a sh*t one at that.

The only disapointing thing about V is the fact they removed the Dynamic Nature IV had for an entirely Scripted system V has.

No more Dynamic animations...
:(

Can you provide any examples? It would be helpful to understand your statement.

If I'm not misinterpreting your post, then I would have to add that both GTA IV and GTA V are using a dynamic animation system, Euphoria. You simply cannot replace the system with what you call a "scripted system", of course, minor alterations can be done, but the former is just impossible.

Dynamic animations are gone, Go walk into a Ped, You'll get the same animation over and over and over again.

Remember when Niko gets Tapped by a Car, He'd put his hand down and brace himself on the car? Nothing like that in V, I reallly, Really wish they'd kept those nice little touches..
Walking into a ped is like walking into a wall. I miss being to shove them out of the way, over railings, down stairs etc.

Not to mention hitting peds with cars.

So much fun, and you never knew where they would fly to.

I used to(and still) do laps around Middle Park

I really, really hope you're not this stupid, and you're just trying to satirise the people who dislike this game for stupid reasons.

I fear not though. Jesus Christ. Get rid of these damn ten year olds.

This.

The OP is so f*cking ridiculous and pathetic, you'd think the TC was making a satire of the entitled kiddies with their..."wahh!! yoga wahh!!! no gang warzzzz wwaahh!!! herp herp derpity diddle eye joe"....

So? What you want? Changes, or GTA to be like COD, the same game every launch...
I like changes.

Your post makes no sense, gta v is a gta game. It's more realistic, if you hate gta v, you probably hate other gta series as well.

Oh yeah, I made an in game pic when he bumped into the wall lol. Indeed, his driving skill is remarkable. And how he does a drive by is still a question for me even to this day.

Your post makes sense does it ? You're basically saying it is not possible to have a choice of liking one GTA game and disliking another. In your world, the concept of human free will just don't exist.

Yeah right, that makes perfect sense  :sarcasm:

This forums are making my hate for Smileys even bigger, if you use one it means you're likely being an asshole (Atleast in my point of view), they are just so provokative.....

I don't have a single problem with those kind of smileys.

I have it when they entitle you as an asshole, those ones who try to make someone look Smart for using them...

Such as these:    :/  :colgate:  :dontgetit:  :sneaky:  ;)  :sly:  ;)  :D

I agree to an extent in terms of the physics. It doesn't even feel like Euphoria used in GTA IV, RDR and MP3. It's got more of a "ragdoll" feel exactly like the Saints Row games do.

Exactly. And you know this when you fall off a top building many times the players body will not move, it will just stand still while falling just like in Saints Row.

OP's topic is arguable but the points chosen to prove it are very superficial IMO.

The main "GTA feeling" that's compromised in GTAV is the sense of total free agency.  You still have a ton of freedom but there are more exceptions than before in this series.  Having places where you are prevented from using violence, times when you are forced to switch characters, and even the existence of multiple player characters, are all things far away from continuously inhabiting a single character who does whatever you want, whenever you want.

I agree the screens you get both for mission success and failure in GTAV are much more immersion-breaking than GTA IV, which notified of mission failure with a relatively subtle text message and made you use your phone to retry.  You had the option of ignoring the replay prompt for a while and keeping control of the character and it was a fairly seamless transition from mission to free roam (though you could sense the change in traffic and ped patterns when you were familiar with the game).  On the other hand GTAV makes the beginning of missions more seamless with free roam at the same time mission endings have become not seamless at all.

Stick with COD kids, it's never gonna change if you're afraid of change especially when it's for the better like the weapon wheel or stats.
Maybe best if you clowns just quit gaming altogether.

how bout them linear missions?

Even in gta4 you could pick and choose how you wanted to complete missions, gta v is like watch this cutscene, kill these people in a very scripted manner another cutscene.. Mission completed.

Your parents must've overlooked the "mature" rating on the game case.

How can you say that when online is pretty much exactly the same as GTA IV (which is arguably the worst GTA) and previous generation of GTA games didn't even have online?

Because in GTA IV they didn't sacrifice the singleplayer experience for the online. And GTA IV was actually a good game...

GTA IV It Is a good game!

Personally I think it feels a lot more GTAish then GTA IV did.
