How do you combine template with paint job (in order to give the pj shadows and so)?

Unfortunately, I couldn't add the NJ Transit logo in front panel since it shares texture with the other panel above the front door, which I had to retexture that way so it looks well.

@roadrunner i felt this issue will come, so i quickly uploaded another version minus the front sign and the roof hump, it got santa monica livery by default, but it should work with most transit livery. I added more stuff to the interior so it comes with its own wtd file.

I will upload another version with AC unit permanently welded to the body and SPEED movie as well (only the rear ad will be permanently merged with the boot, since the boot a d side ads never showed up altogether)

It would be cool in the near future once V modding is available, you could put this in V, seeing as the busses in GTA V fit more than those in IV, IIRC.

 

It's still quite a shame how big busses in IV can fit only 3 passengers, counting the driver.

I cant wait for GTAV, they better have a freeway with a gap on it :D  im reluctant to release it, but its available for download, probably a game engine limitation. I tried to make the bus enter able, but there's a hidden collision wall not found on wft, the only reference is the reefer boat.

I'd be surprised if they didn't ;)

 

I remember back when IV first came out, oodles and oodles of people made "Speed" parodies, but then again, this was back in 2008. I haven't checked youtube yet if they made any Speed parodies in V.

 

And even then, by the time modding for V is out, we'll all be interested in North Yankton! :p

Del Perro... It isn't a too catchy name, it was better in SA with Santa Maria Beach as Santa Monica in my opinion.

NOOOOOOOOO!

LOD glitch again looks like lod1 parts are not showing up. Im on vacation so i want able to deal with it within 2 weeks.

My wft is unlocks so feel free disecting my model, my lod1 have too much polygon, maybe.

update on classic. Modeled a new seat, so this is more likely a MCI model than a earlier GM model.

This is the more modern counterpart, Trying to make it closer to the MTA's Green Line buses, more like the one below, not exactly but close.

sigh, have to change the engine compartment door a bit... this one comes with a larger, wider spaced taillights, while the earlier model have smaller ones. The funny thing on the top is easy, the back window is a polycount nightmare, i think i might get away with a bump map.

I have to get it done..Aside from the RTS and my fishbowl theres no other no other north american buses on GTA4, except for a token of new flyer for san andreas.

I just wanted to comment on the back window. I dont see why you wouldnt model the blinds-looking things. It wont increase the polycount that much, it just looks complex.

Just stretch out a bunch of flat planes and add some segments so the deformation still looks good, They dont have to be fully modeled.

Also that way it will fit the art style of the original cars, pretty much all of them have the grilles and such modeled, so why not do the same for the bus?

I have already done it, saves me a lot of time than doing a bump map. The polycount didnt gone up drastically.

I just noticed something GTA 5 had with their buses that GTA 4 didn't.
