Most billionaires or glitchers haven't really cost R* a penny considering most of them would never have bought a cash card anyway. This changes when a modder hands out millions to all players though, then they are potentially losing money on cash card sales.

You can`t steal something that never existed.

There is no direct correlation between ingame money and real money, since there is no way of converting them into real cash. Therefore, regardless of how much money you have / get ingame, it doesn`t cost Rockstar a penny.

So by your reasoning, the cost to operate their multimillion dollar servers (which if free to play for you btw as you don't pay a subscriber fee) is also free for R*?

How about the hundreds of engineers, techs, and IT support R* uses to maintain the servers.  Are these employees also free of charge to the company as well?

Why else would they put a real price/charge on GTA$ in the first place?

Wake up and smell the coffee bro

They made 1 Billion is sales of the game overall. 1 BILLION. Take a moment to grasp how much money that is. Enough for them to run AND optimize their servers, as well as funnel money into other projects. Your logic is invalid.

Wake up and smell the REALITY, bro.

having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future.

You were never going to spend anywhere near 150k on cash cards by yourself, the potential profit from you is both non existent and unrealistic because you never planned to spend.

With or without been gifted cash, I would never EVER exchange real money for pretend money. You have to be f*cking dumb as f*ck to waste money on something which holds no value.

Yeah, I will buy the game and prehaps a DLC if it's a major expansion. But paying money for a new gun or whatever is pointless and so are the cash cards. I hope rockstar take notice of the hackers and drop the cash cards in favour of map and single player expansion.

What's the point of this thread? It's a game, virtual money. You can't exchange and get real money. Cash cards are optional.

People only would be "costing" Rockstar money if they would purchase cash cards had they not gotten money illegitimately.

Most glitches that have been in the game shouldnt have been, and it didnt take rocketscience to figure them out. took some 14 year olds a couple hours, exactly what a BETA would have allowed.

They had launched an underprepared game, and now they get the under prepared effects.

Rockstar made 1 BILLION within 5 days of sale, and already racked up another BILLION. Good let them spend all that hard earned money on fixing a under prepared game.

Visit http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/member/fishfishstinks/games/gtav/career/overview/gtaonline and replace my username with yours. Now view your car sales.

$21.51 for a Great White Shark Cash Card worth $1,250,000 in-game cash.

I'm currently costing them $151.43 in potential sales due to the LSC glitch. (8.8 mil / 1.25 * $21.51) and growing.

/feelsgoodman.jpg

well at the rate (in cumulative GTA$ billions) that you clown ass hackers and glitchers have been raping the company, my guess is R* might hit a new financial record sometime next year.

Spending 1 billion of REAL USD currency in overhead/labor related costs trying to fix the complete f*ck up GTAO has become.

not sure... because it was never bought in the first place... only made up and digitized to be gifted to you.

how can free in game (gifted or bounties) money cost real money?

and how can ANY legit or non legit (GTA OR NOT GTA) fake money cost real money?

this will answer the entire question to cash cards, and glitched money.

it cannot. only if you let it. and if you let it, you need to sort out your priorities and develop real life credit. maybe learn to balance a check book. then you will see how stupid all of this fake money nonsense sounds.
