In most of the RPG games and some other games, there are many awesome soundtracks which makes gamplay interesting. I love the fact that GTA V has some sountracks in game itself (excluding radio). But, my favourite would always be:

Have you come across any?

I really like emotional orchestral music in games, like these:

Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, Mass Effect, the Sonic games and GTA San Andreas are some of my all time favorites.

Max Payne 3 and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon have some of the best scores I ever heard.

Zelda Ocarina of time on N64 and Baten Kaitos on GameCube

I prefer japanese tracks, because european and american tend to be so conservative and rather dull.

In most games I tend to switch the music off because it just puts me off. Like in skyrim, it is much more realistic to travel around the contryside without any backround music. that way the ambient sounds come through and make me feel like I'm really in a middle of nature.

Unfortunately in some games the music cannot be turned off.

Worst sound track are definitely the annoying super mario tracks.

It's good to have nostalgic memories, right?

Anyways, here's another of my favorite:
