Hey mates!

Am I the only one wondering why the hell Rockstar didn't include the possibility of interacting with the beach gym? I mean... f*ck it.. they have a stats system and a "strength" stat which could be increased by using gym accessories, and Franklin even does some working-out animations when switching between him, and another character.

I'm not ranting, or anything, but wouldn't it be cool if you could actually WORK OUT to maximize your strength, rather than going to play... tennis? (wtf?).

The character isn't "flexible" and "cartoony enough for you to change their shape with a minigame. It has been said before, I cant explain it very well.

Uhm, I'm not talking about being more muscular, or whatever, only stats boost. It would add more interactivity to the game, and it could be a Franklin-only activity. It wouldn't be the only "incomplete" minigame implemented in GTA V.

Well, let's not say *AHEM* Yoga *COUGH*

People would complain because of 2 reasons:

 1- Dickheads here always complain

2- People would say gaining muscular stats without getting more muscle.

Besides if you want to gain stats related to muscle, you have the stat "Strengh" which you gain by punching people I think. But be careful, you might get this:  :miranda:

I don't know about "dickheads complaining", but I've stated how the strength stat could have been increased by some kind of working-out minigame.

Yoga is the incomplete activity I'm talking about though. That's something I can't understand why they've put in the game in the first place. The same "press a button, to do something" method could've been used for working out. Yoga is okay if the player wants to increase Micheal's stats, but for Franklin? Nope, that would be stupid.

OP it's been long discussed in a previous thread but I agree stat increase would help, especially considering the 30 minute triathlon requiring full stamina stat or a miracle to win

I never ran out of stamina with that, I wish I had though as after 30 mins of intense button mashing your finger feels dead.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS STILL A THING.

I like the fact that they've tried a different approach, where the activities are more interactive than mashing a button to make your character bench some weights. The gym in SA was incredibly passive in its interaction and was frankly quite boring.

Can we all move on? There's no interactive gym. DEAL WITH IT, BITCHES.

Especially y'all bitches that wouldn't ever use a gym in real life.

They could have added another model for T and F that the game would switch to when you reach a certain strength level.

Yeah why not? I deff think they should put it into use so that people could use it to max their strength and stuff, instead of standing on top of a car kicking for several hours

I have to say I agree with the OP on this one, You can only punch 2 people before you get a star and 1 star is harder to get rid of than 4.

The fact that it is there and laid out the way it is with a lot of space between equipment etc. makes me think that making it usable was on the table but at some point they changed their mind.  I agree with another poster who said they just decided to make the stats increase based more on real gameplay versus just lifting weights in a virtual gym.  How many people would play a bunch of tennis and golf or do tons of hand to hand combat if they could just build up their stats in a virtual gym?

I'd like fighting styles and cage fights-gym fights.

It could be a pack theme. But they would have to create animations.
