I've been searching but cannot find a decisive list of drag strip locations for impromptu races.  The airport up North seems obvious but what about in town. Thanks

LS Airport? Could do a shorter one at the Race track I suppose.

Well, you could use Dell Perro Fwy but there's alot of traffic there which doesn't come in handy for drag races. Don't really know about any roads without traffic besides airports.

Go for the LS river. I don't really understand why you'd just have a drag race anyway seeing as whatever car has the highest top speed will always win. Assuming you're dragging a decent distance. To each their own though

I agree with this guy. The Airport is definitely the best place to go. The runways are perfect. You don't have to worry about traffic and the frequency of planes landing/taking off is very low and barely an issue.

LS Runway. The impromptu race will tell you to go on the streets but just go straight. Also you have to start a tiny bit on the dirt so the red circle isn't blocking you. I've done 2 drag races at LS airport. It's also where I take new cars or my entity to just drive without hitting anything.

I was thinking a nice strait road, and the other players can block traffic for runs

it's also obvious to me the airport, I suppose if you only have two people this is the logical choice

The road going down to the port where you take cars to Simeon. It's usually not so busy especially if you go at the right times. Then there are roads in the industrial areas around there are usually deserted as well. They are decently straight with varying distances.

I like the idea of going to the docks, it seems appropriate too, thank you

Where down the drain is held, there's some nice straight bits there with no traffic, failing that Sandy Shores airfield for short drags or LS Airport for top speed runs.

Military base has a good runway if you don't mind bullets.

Sandy Shores airport is perfect for it. No worries about getting the cops on you and it's pretty much always clear of planes.
