I've noticed a lot of you guys feel that story mode got shafted and you feel that GTA O is what they really focused on, which is true for the most part. There's a lot more things to do online truth be told.

But here is the last part of a Newswire update by Rockstar:

New Customization Options
You'll be able to deck out your GTA Online character with all new beach-ready customization options including stylish board shorts, neon surfer attire, wild tribal tattoos, shaggy hair for that West Coast laissez-faire vibe and more...

This is just the first of many new content updates we're working on for Grand Theft Auto Online in the weeks and months ahead. Please stay tuned here at the Newswire for word on the forthcoming Content Creator, full on cooperative Heists, and GTA Online's take on Capture the Flag - plus info on some exciting new Story Mode updates as well. We'll have new info to share on all of this very soon.

So what does this mean? It means that singleplayer wasn't forgot about, and all you people thinking that Singleplayer got the raw end, well it seems that it will also be getting updates now and then. The only question is what could it possibly be?

If you read the newswire, single player contents are in the pipeline for updates in coming months.

Notice the order, it comes last in the list of their priorities.

Offcourse a couple of tweaks for story mode is welcome but nothing major could be expected for a long time.

This is promising, but I really don't expect a huge amount of new content for story mode. Maybe a few extra mission threads, but nothing on the scale of EFLC.

If the post that appeared earlier is true and we'll get some background story for each of the three protags, that'd be great. I'd love to see what Franklin was doing before he met Michael. But it won't be a full 30 hour story addition like we had with IV. 5-10 hours at best.

And that is fine with me.

Well yeah, it's not going to be something real major, but it's nice to know that they're will be a couple little updates here and there.

They'd have to be fools to ignore the people that funded the Online experiment.

Probably gang wars and some cars/weapons/clothes.

 some cars/weapons/clothes.

That's pretty much a given, seeing as cars and weapons from Online carry over into Story Mode.

Story mode needs more story and a bunch of new freaks and strangers. Maybe give the Vinewood zombie a mission strand?

Some missions would be nice, I can see them adding some Strangers and Freaks like Fuzzy said and some other sh*t like an Alien Survival Mode.

It does seem that, unfortunately, Online is being focussed on more than the Story Mode.

Though hopefully the upcoming additions to the Story Mode include more heist missions, as well as interiors. For example; the casino - which could be used as a setting for a heist and also allow the player to partake in gambling activities off-mission. Finding all of those prospective crew members would seem like such a waste otherwise.

Maybe even give each of the protagonists a bunch of new single-character missions as well; or Strangers and Freaks missions, as has already been mentioned. :)

I really want to see some type of EFLC type of expansion. But it's really looking as if we will get a few more stangers and freaks, and some cool vehicles at best. Only time will tell

sh*t man what happened to Rockstar?? Their priority is certainly online ("working on for GTA Online in the weeks and months ahead)

And for singleplayer (what made GTA) those greedy assholes just say in the end of the text: some exciting new Story Mode updates

I have lost faith in them but hey maybe its not just new haircuts, clothes, vehicles and weapons but many new story missions

I don't get people like you honestly. They're out to make money dude they're not greedy as a lot of other companies. Not even being a fanboy it's just like, the minute something doesn't go you're way, they're automatically greedy and out to get you.

Shut the f*ck up.

"plus info on some new exciting Story Mode updates aswell" What does it mean? It means that R* still neglects the singleplayer, notice the "plus" and "aswell". They talk about the singleplayer like it's some sort of addition to the online, and that online is their main priority. This is sad...

You are actually being a huge fanboy and a d*ckhead too. I don't get people like you going around telling people how they should feel. GTA V is disappointing, but fixable...if R* opens their eyes.

So why don't you shut the f*ck up.

You're doing the same thing dude chill out hillbilly, I know the game has flaws and some problems I'm not saying it doesn't. I'm just annoyed at people claiming Rockstar is "greedy" and this and that, when it could be a f*ckton worse. What if they made you pay for that beach bum pack? Some companies would.

So still, shut the f*ck up.

I haven't bitched much about single player but this is my first GTA title and I have nothing to compare it to. But I've seen it all before with other games. Each successive game in a series gets more dumbed down or goes in a direction the players of earlier versions don't like. It gains fanboys and haters. I'm satisfied with my experience and the game is suitably sandbox-ey enough to let me do my own thing.

That said, I'll gladly take any updates they throw my way and I'll continue to hope the Casino gets opened for gambling and maybe even a heist. Though I'd prefer it to be like a respawning event similar to the armored trucks and what the weed farm was SUPPOSED to be.

hillbilly really? That's all you have? You are a dumbass...if they charged for the beach bum pack a lot of people would laugh and not buy it. Then it will like all dlc rolled into a complete edition where we can just hold of and pay $19.99. You feel you have to go around and defend R*'s honor? You are the saddest type of fanboy.

I love SP, I didn't feel like they took away from the Story mode as all the missions were great compared to a dozen great missions and 80 fillers in past GTAs. I did think they screwed us on customization and items though, the f*ck?

Anyway, what really pisses me off about MP is that the patches have made SP worse for me. On launch, SP was completely flawless, I didn't encounter a single bug, but as more patches came in, the more bugs that went into SP. It went from freezing occasionally to texture loading going to sh*t (this latest patch).
