2/3 of the whole map is countryside but no single appartement in here not even a 10 car garage... Only one 6 car garage in the desert. Should I be satisfied with that? Hopes up for the beachbum pack.

I don't think there are any apartments in the countryside - only houses, shacks and trailers.

f*ck no, you should be pissed like me. It's where I usually go to hang out and it was the first area I looked at for apartments or houses. I don't see why they can't use some of the random houses out there innawoods. I understand there's no eclipse apartments out there, but still...

Its because R* has plans to release more content over time.   GTA O was released as basic as possible.

We should have that.

I mean, there's a few houses in the city.

There's been no word from Rockstar regarding new property being released. But I'm willing to bet its coming. If you'll notice, there are a lot of properties with "for sale" and "forclosure" signs up which look like they could easily be turned into player property. There's a few of those properties in the country side.

Now that I'm thinking about it, having that high-end apartment interior at just one of the northern beach houses would just be gorgeous.  Have a nice view of the beach, secluded location, and quick access to the mountains for your bikes.

^^^ You could totally "fit" a high end into one of those.  You could absolutely manage having just one of the middle range apartments in one of those.

Middle end range wouldn't cut it, they would need to make new ones

Middle end range would only fit temproarily, then people would bitch about how a random apartment in LS is the same thing as a apartment that SHOULD have view to the beach

Rockstar is omnipotent, so I guess they could in theory.

But then again, Communism works, in theory, so i'm in two minds.

Well realistically speaking even irl there are no apartments out in the country. Just farm houses and trailers. I wouldn't mind a small country home to purchase in game.

Exactly, I have yet to see a trailer home with an underground 10-car garage lol.

It would help expand the game, so there wouldn't be people always crowded in the city.

As people already have stated, there are no actual appartment buidings. Just houses and trailers. And since all the countryside towns are already filled, they would have to make a lot of changes to the map (and other things such as traffic AI to adapt to the new changes.). This would also have an impact in single player as the base map is shared by GTAO and GTAV.

Another thing to consider is the fact that some important stuff that requires changing may be stored on the disk rather than the HDD. Meaning that those area's cannot be changed since people with the disk version would have to aquire a new disk in order to play.

Just my thoughts here.

Hopefully they add trailers in the countryside for like 10k, House in East Vinewood and Mirror Park for 90k, and beach houses for 200k in the future

Why not allow us to buy a trailer home and kick the ncp out, or own a small home. Own a place to live is like san andreas it just another area in the game its not in the world. Ring the door bell and choose whos home your trying to get in, forget the realism of players in apartment and just let us own a normal home with multiple residents. The only real work for that would be the interior and obviously the programming but its not as hard as people think they dont even need to add new buildings, because look at the apartments, you ring the doorbell and enter your home... how hard is that thats not ground breaking game changing mechanics the only thing to that is were it leads you, to a small area. They could do it.
