the XS has a more aggressive body kit and looks much better in my opinion.

This, and I've never really been a huge fan of convertibles.

Maybe if I ever go through a mid life crisis that'll change, but atm I'm happy with my hard tops.

Why the GT wing?

The trunk-lip spoiler looks so much sleeker.

They seem to be clones its just the Sentinel is a convertible and thus is better than the XS.

XS sucks now compared to GTA3, VC, and IV. You're better off with the regular Sentinel.

This. I really wish they would've kept IV's Sentinel and just had V's Sentinel a different model made by the same company.

I mean c'mon, IV's was sexy as sh*t

It actually looked like a legit Beamer. The new model's nice and all but just doesn't compare imo.

Both cars are exactly the same in terms of performance.

Both cars are exactly the same in terms of performance.

actually...

Sentinel= loose handling, convertible

Sentinel XS= stiffer suspension, fixed roof, few more mods, more acceleration, different top speed (a little higher)...

What I don't understand is how this vehicle performs SO poorly. Acceleration is god-awful and I don't understand why.

If this is indeed based of an M3 (it shouldn't be), it needs higher end performance.

A Fusilade (Crossfire) should not be leaps and bounds better than an M3 (this is laughable).

A Fusilade should not be leaps and bounds better than a 335i (this also induces laughter).

A Fusilade should not be leaps and bounds better than a 328i.

I personally don't see them basing the Fusilade off of the AMG sourced SRT-6 Crossfire either considering how uncommon that really was. The XS either needs to be dialed up or the Fusilade dialed down IMO (preferably dialing the XS up to be similar to the Schwartzer at least).

Sentinel = Cabrio (Convertible)

Sentinel XS = Coupe

They're both coupes. Regular Sentinel is a hardtop convertible while the Sentinel XS is a soft top convertible.

When the performance mods are all added, the torque on the XS is too high and it results in unwanted wheel spins. It takes longer to actually set off than the convertible does. The XS handling us better though, you can do some great drifts in it.

I love my XS. It's quicker, handles better and looks sicker than the regular Sentinel. But the Sentinel's convertible animation is the best of all convertibles. I rarely get killed from bullets from the rear. The roll cage offers a lot of protection whereas the regular Sentinel is game over when someone blasts your rear window.

It's my car of choice for freeroam.

I'm certain the XS is faster.

I fully modified both, ran a 1:05.634 around Cutting Coroners in the Sentinel. It was a one-off lap too.

The Sentinel XS, fully modified, ran a 1:02.645 around the same track. It also got these times consistently.

Not true, the XS is the same exact car, just without a convertible top. Rockstar wouldn't and didn't go out of their way to change any of the performance data to make it perform better than the non-XS. Most people just think it's better because of the placebo effect.

I own both, I just like them lol

XS has a little more acceleration the the Sentinel, but in all honestly it's not enough difference to worry about.

XS gets a nice new interior with Chasis upgrade, and sadly the regular Sentinel does not.

I like the normal Sentinel better, the lack of carbon roof looks clearer.
