Man, once you race with approved racers crowd ... you will race so many different tracks. There is no Mickey Mouse luck in there. 1 mistake and you rarely ever will see a leader. So learning race tracks is key to your consistency, without that maybe you will enjoy 4-5first corners then you are alone -forever.

I guess if one wants beautifull stats, just create unusual custom race no one learnt and grind it with forever loosing randoms.

Personally, race stats do indicate how much racing was done by player. Winning ratio ... its not really good to have high winning stat, as your betting isn't really rewarded.

I know right, since my winning rate started improving I'm offered bet odds like 11/10... Thanks for the $10.

There's a lot of people in this thread who think they're as good as it gets when it comes to racing because of a win/loss record padded out with Down the Drain and Criminal Records lol

Try racing a 10 race playlist against 15 members of RRR1 or APEX and see how long that record lasts. You =

I'm not trying to be a dick, i'm just saying there's people on GTAO who hardly ever race in random public races who will leave most of you behind so fast you wont be able to keep up to even sniff their slipstream

The bottom line is that the win/loss ratio means absolutely nothing. Good racers often trash thier records by helping others, bad racers often pad thier records by farming wins, racers with huge total numbers often only know a couple simple tracks, racers with low numbers may have raced all of the tracks but only a couple times. The only real stat that matters is how much you actually enjoy what yourdoing. That isnt recorded anywhere in game. Anyone who is looking for enjoyable racing with skillful racers should consider checking out some links in my sig.

This guy speaks the truth. ^..

I find it rare to see any racers with more wins then losses to be any good at all.

From what i've seen the racers with the most losses are the best ones.  If some guy has 500 wins and 2000 losses, chance are hes a maniac on the road and can drive like a pro.

Now if i see someone with like 200+ wins and 100 losses, chances are he will quit or loose anyways.
I'm at 83 wins 219 losses.....I need to loose more to be pro :(

...soo you're calling us noob...for not racing in invite only races....I think it's more they are the noobs who can't handle people crashing into them

Psh....

If you can win one out of every 4 races in this game you are very good.

Think about it.  Races can have 8 players in them.  If you can win 1 out of every 4 races even, you are better than most people that play this game online.

Who called anyone a noob?

Look, most people who like racing in GTAO who like to race fair and are actually any good eventually start looking for similar people to play with so they join a racing crew, think about it, who's driving will improve the most?

The players racing the same few tracks over and over with the same couple of car class' against players who would rather ram you off than let you pass. Or the players racing in full lobbies with everyone on the same wavelength, racing hard but fair on every type of track with every class of car ?

Did give away a few wins to others to unlock parts ......

but 90% of the wins/losses are honest

I am up to: 379 / 497

level 122 main character - most of my losses come with 2nd character trying to level up - most my crew are high level and so lost a lot of races against them when I was level 5 to 30. Not having custom cars in long races or GTA races hurts when a low level. hurts even more when playing against 10 or more players.

Racing is all I do - cant shoot to save my life.

I'm on 160/134. All legit. I blame catchup for a lot of my losses. It's the worst thing ever!! It's too over powered if you ask me!

I've often wondered how well others have done. Usually when i race I look at how well the other players have done. And I never see any with more wins than losses!!

162-148 after giving 40 wins to my other xbox account. Needed full mods for both accounts at the time.

197/133, no padding whatsoever. Once you know how your car of choice ticks (which doesn't take much at all), defeating randoms becomes second nature. Still doesn't prepare you for the clusterf*cks that are 16 player races though.

For sh*ts and giggles here's what I use:

Super: Infernus or Cheetah, every once in a blue moon the Voltic

Sports: Banshee or Comet

Muscle: Sabre Turbo or Phoenix

Coupes: Used to be F620, now it's the Exemplar

Bikes: Used to be the Nemisis and the PCJ 600, now it's the Double T

56 Wins
50 Loses
