Yesterday i accidentally deleted my character , i was at level 74 and i had never glitched. i bought an Entity and the best safehouse with alot of hard work and now i lost everything because i pressed square instead of X.

So now im gonna glitch my way back to the top, anyone knows any good xp glitch ? i just want my level 74 back.

Sorry for creating a new topic probably on the wrong section

Your own stupidity and mistake definitely justifies cheating.

I suggest you might need more practice with one of these - they're great xp too.

No, no... according to my boisterous guffaw just now, I'd say you were justified.

You can't even perform the glitch correctly. There's no hope for you.

because i hate f*ckin' glitches. And i can perform it correctly but instead of giving me the xp right away i get the downloading screen and it takes ages.

I was level 40 - deleted because I wanted to start over - now level 90.

Does not take that long. Plus you know all the races, missions etc...

Everyone else at your level is new so I just ended up winning all the races and levelled up so fast + made loads of money getting 1st place all the time.

Done this with more characters now as well gets you loads of money fast.

You missed the point of his rebuttal.

AFTER you pressed square instead of X, you would have needed to press square (of whatever button it would ask) AGAIN in the confirmation of deletion warning that would have followed.

That implies a conscious decision. That also implies you`re full of sh*t now, making excuses for cheating.

believe what you want man, if i was full of sh*t i wouldnt be pissed enough to come here and create this topic. Im sure there wasnt a confirmation screen, but if there was then i pressed the wrong key twice. sh*t happens...i never cheated/glitched to reach lvl 74. Im cheating now because like i said starting over is boring, i don't need excuses to cheat, if i wanted too i would be doing it without coming here trying to justify it.

Don't feel bad TC I did the exact same thing a few weeks ago and lost my level 76, there was lots of beer involved. Best way to avoid this is to quit beer which aint gonna happen or avoid the choose character menu where the deadly square button is just lying in wait for me again I know it. Started over and now have a level 93 that just got set back one week on garage and character stats, if the square button don't get you the cloud most assuredly will mu ha ha.

Anyone can mistake the buttons, considering they are too close to each other. Someone who swtiches characters everytime will eventually hit the wrong button. Rockstar should put a confirmation screen, or make us introduce a code to delete it. It's not that hard, really. Leave the guy alone.

Obvioulsly you were cheating before. Why would you be in the character selection screen? Back to the beginning you go.

I have never hit the wrong button for a few times. Not enough to not being able to see the warnings.
