SpoilerThat was just amazing.
I chose the other option and I still haven't played that version of it. I have to do it next time I play. I loved the version of it where the heli crashed and you to repel down the side and if you pick the right driver he has an ambulance so you don't get a wanted level.
I also loved the Paleto Bay heist.

The sewer escape was actually very exciting for me, well it's just for me. As far as I'm concerned, I could care less other heist escapes as they are all epic IMO.

There should have been a heist at a red carpet event since Vinewood was such a big theme in the game.

My ranking of the heists
6. Merryweather heist
The heist is just boring, the planning is stupid and actually takes awhile and the actual mission, especially if you do offshore is boring as *hit. Along with the fact that you get no reward, definitely the worst heist in the game
5. Bureau Raid
The actual mission was ok, but when you realize you pretty much did it for nothing, it really takes alot out from it
4. Blitz play
The mission was pretty fun, and liked the shootout between cops. Could have been better with planning
3. Paleto score
I actually really liked this mission, was exciting and the shootout between the cops and army was fun
2. Jewelry heist
The story up to this point was still very strong for me, and everything about the mission is pretty flawless, from the planning the robbery and the escape
1. Big score
For me, this one was most exciting. The huge reward also had something to do with that but both approaches had nice escape shootouts, especially the subtle one with the muscle cars.

Hands down... Paleto bank heist.
You are never told what the 'military hardware' you hijacked is. Not until the moment the 3 burst out of the bank in juggernaut gear and Trevor wielding a minigun.
Perfectly awesome.

I don't have any favorites, but I can say that the Merryweather one just sucks. Not because of the lack of compensation, but because how easily they gave up on whatever they stolen.
They should have known the risks before doing it, and not regretting it AFTER doing it.

I think we can all agree that the MW heist was the worst out of all.

This....I want that armour back.
Perfectly awesome.

I think the Paleto bank one was the best.
The first one was cool, but it was so rushed and over with so quickly. Hardly any action. Way too scripted.

Also, the Union Depository where Mike and Chef (in my play through) fake a bank robbery then shoot their way out, while loudly proclaiming they don't have any money. Lol.
The reactions from the cops in Paleto Bay after Mike and Trevor exit the front door, are also amazing, as is the carnage after.

I had been playing a LOT of Payday 2 prior to the release of this game.....so the first heist felt awesome.
I still loved all the rest of them, but I wish there were more small-time hits like the first one. But I'm hoping thats what the GTA:O heists will be like. A mixture of big, small, and weird/crazy ones

There should've been a heist at a Vinewood star's mansion using stealth and stealing a rare painting or something. The stealth mechanic felt very under utilised IMO.

The Merryweather option where you blow up the boat and Michael can use stealth to take out the guards is actually pretty fun but it is my least favorite one.

My game skipped that mission and now i cant f*cking reach 100%.

Your game skipped a main story line mission?
Ok.

The Jewelry Store heist is excellent because it's so new. The first time we get to plan and then execute a mission - well I thought it was just insanely exciting. Coupled to the fact that the introductory story building up to it was pretty much flawless (a level of storytelling they sadly couldn't sustain for the whole game).....I'd probably agree that it was the pinnacle of GTA5.
That being said, after finishing the game and then replaying some of my favourite missions - it's not the best heist out of context.
For me, that was either Paleto Bay (for all the reasons described above - it's fantastically over the top, and unexpectedly so) or the Bureau Raid (the burning building was thrilling - and call me weird, but I also enjoyed the mop & bucket bit as well! It was certainly different......)
I found the opening of the Big Score (subtle) to be really tense and exciting. But then the traffic flow bit was rather lame, and the shootout and car chase were fun but nothing exceptional.
Blitz Play was great (and Heat is one of my favourite movies) but it barely feels like a heist in the GTA5 sense. More just a really good mission - a bit like Three Leaf Clover.
Merriweather was the weakest by far. I didn't hate the prep....sneaking around the docks was kind of interesting. But the actual heist itself (offshore) was uneventful, straightforward and not very rewarding.

The Merryweather heist was really boring, there were a lot of non-heist mission that was better than this heist.
I loved the Paleto Heist. Not only because it was in PB (I love that town), but also because of all the f*cking action: Tanks, military and the minigun.
The best part about this heist was the bad-ass moment when the cops shat their pants when Michael, the gunman (
