A small list of things I think could have been better...

All the trailers shouldnt be stuck in place

lift kits should have been an option on trucks and suv's thru LS Customs
4x4's cant climb hills but super cars can??? (Biggest let down of all)
random events missing (major disappointment)

wildlife missing
cops dont talk to dispatch
cant do races against npc's
higher level jobs are multi player only

cant drive under semi's

cant be around anyone without getting gunned down
armored trucks disappear after 15 seconds
or if you go in your garage, the paint shop, accidently start a gang attack or any other event.

crate drops dissapearing if you enter your garage, the paint shop, accidently start a gang attack or any other event.

no more garage room cant own more property

cant own hangers helipads or boat docks
kick system REALLY sucks
cant set prefered weapons
sometimes glitchy cover system
most equipment vehicles dont function
tow truck
missing

cargo bob missing (after level 30's, no option to buy it)

scubba gear missing
killed during loading screens

cant run inside

No online hunting (hunting could have been a little harder in sp)

Simeons car list and car collection icon disappearing

An why do I hear cop sirens 90% of the time even when theres none around an I have no stars, it gets old fast...

Did I miss anything?

P.S. WHERE ARE THE SEAPLANES!!!!! I miss my seaplane from Vice City sitting out behind my mansion at the baot dock :-). Was a nice view from the pool!

Other than that the game is tons of fun!

You missed the mechanic. He  is what is known as a f-u-c-k-t-a-r-d.

I've placed bold lettered warnings on my job ads for replacement mechanics

"WARNING!  Will get ass beat if you do not deliver car, or deliver car like a dumbass."

I've given up on him leaving my radio station alone.

GtaO's biggist disappointement is a combination of the player base and glitches/modders.

The map is too big. This segregates the players, but still better than being stuck at the airport in IV every time.

And as big as the map is, the urban section is too small a percentage of that map. Empty mountains too big a percentage of the map.

The worst part of Bad Sport is it's easily exploitable.

Whaaaaa!!!whaaaa!!
It encourages cooperation
Want c bob call up a level 30 on in game text and pick him/her up and let him play with your buzzard or private jet
The mechanic yeah he's kinda spotty but that what makes it fun and why he gets a bat or crow bar to the head occasionally. ;)

I fail to see the "cooperation" when I'm kicked from every room with anyone else in it... Then log back in only to be stuck in my own room over and over and over... yea im failing to see why we are punished for leveling beyond 30's and yes taking something as fun and crazy as the carbobob out of play feels like punishment   And btw in case you havent noticed most players dont really want to play with other players they want to kill them, on missions, after missions, I reasize its fun sometimes but there are plenty of other things I enjoy doing with my time...

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet: The A.I's godlike accuracy, even in moving vehicles.

The bad sport system is disgusting. You will get it for destroying someone's car (even though you're paying for their insurance instead), but you won't get it if you go around killing everybody until they go bankrupt. This is the most retarded thing I've ever seen.

Im pissed that you can't get "road head" from prostitutes.

It's a good tactical advantage if you need health in a car shoot-out, to just get some easy dome action from the passenger.

R* needs to fix this immediately

Aim Assistance...

I dislike it all together but if it must be enabled it should be used against NPCs only. It should also be a setting you can set while online. I don't care if all my friends need that crutch to be good, I'm sick of going to shoot a guy that's shooting me only to aim at the guy who's picking his nose half way across the map.

Also if you have more than one friend it's next to impossible to play with both of them... The game needs a server system where you search for servers, and pick one, not get thrown into random servers and booted back to single player. It's ridiculous!

Why R* didn't talk to the good folks at SAMP is beyond me but it is a mistake. If you want to know how a Grand Theft Auto Multiplayer should be, check out http://www.sa-mp.com/ (for PC)

BTW, SAMP also supports 128 players per server...

Also I'm disappointed by many of the things I knew we'd get like:

Over the Shoulder view (the worst thing to hit video games since turn based fighting)

Lack of classic control scheme (like PS2 GTAs, I want to quick look left, right and behind me the old school way)

I understand that if you turned off your aim assistance and switch to a new server, that server will only have players with aim assistance turned off. I haven't confirmed this personally though.

I wish there were wildlife/random encounters but I can see why they weren't implemented as the game needs to track down potenially sixteen players at all times, while allowing us to spectate each one of them in real time. Just generating the human npcs is difficult enough, I would think. Still a shame though.

If it were a mouse controller, then auto-aim is pointless, since the mouse is much more precise than that of a stick controller.  You can easily become one with the mouse.

For me auto-aim is welcomed asset with the PS3, since you have to use the weird stick to move the aiming retical.  That setup is awkward and cumbersome at best.

I don't think you realize how long turn-based gaming has been around for.

I think my personal disappointment is tying the most important car mods (engine, transmission, turbo) to winning races (not even placing). I get that they want you to race. Sometimes though, people don't want to race. Maybe they just want a fast getaway car.

not being able to fully mod cars or change the way your house looks in single player u can wear every single tattoo at the same time in the online version you are very limited to how many tattoos u can wear on each body part not being able to sit down and view the scenery kinda sucks the stock market is always down when i check it still no restaurant to enter and eat at censorship while taking a shower u are forced to wear a swimsuit at the strip club the girls are censored  but u can find naked characters walking around in there yards and what not  everything else  bounty hunting needs to be fixed you can set bountys on any player for no reason at all being kicked from games/servers by other players for ether winning to many games or for no reason at all or because your a low lvl full character customization is a problem cant wear all the clothes i want to wear at the same time alot of the game needs to be changed and fixed

I think there should be a charging fee, for the damage of your car, after the race. This would stop people from crashing into each other.

I hope Rockstar realizes that 'Replay' for races is super lame. After two races of down the drain or criminal records, i have to switch lobbies.

I swear the 'typical gamer' nowadays is a f*cking grind-happy brainwashed, no skill or imagination pussy.

I hope they take out 80% of voting too. Half the time spent waiting online is just a finished lobby waiting for one last person not paying attention to 'like' or 'dislike' a frikken racetrack? Really? Thats what i am waiting for?

My suggestions:

1.Get rid of voting for like/dislike/no vote

2. On the voting screen for whats next, only give the option to 'replay' once or twice. Anything beyond that is just repetitive and makes you realize youre sitting in a lobby with fools who only want to 'rank up' and not experience any of the actual game rockstar has created for us.

can anyone explain me why we're not allowed to blow out the cars of the other players? sincerely i thought i was playing gta not the sims...  even if you stop throwing grenades/ sticky bombs, there will always be someone doing it so i won't just stay there and watch how he blows me out and i won't start to talk about those kids which have to camp during the whole game in the same place with their 5 friends that have no aim well thats a good point but still disappointing..

you can blow up others cars but it just mean you will be bad sport if you do it too much. people don't want there vehicle to be blown up by some idiot. also if someone else is doing it, why don't you go into a invite only session so no one can join your session?

How hard would it be for rockstar to let you customize a random join. I'd like to random join any race.....except Criminal Records! As that's what I seem to get tossed into every freakin' time.
