If you don't know what ambient music is, what I mean is background music when you're playing missions and death matches. I personally think it might be even better than the radio soundtrack. Especially that upbeat tune with the dual saxophones, they just made it fit so well in a 3rd person shooter. Bravo Rockstar!

Getting a 3+ wanted level in Blane County is just epic.

The only part of the score that I don't like is the one that plays during parachuting.

I like it. I think Red Deads is far better though. I think the parachute music sounds like something from Vice City. I do think that it should be able to turn off.

Love the ambient music. It is close to Red Dead but not quite. It's kinda hard to do considering the times difference. Red Dead is an "easy" setting to create a quality ambient score for. GTA V being in modern day LA, it's like well what should it sound like?

Helicopter music is the best. It plays a couple times during missions too, like when you

The best mix I found is flying just in between Los Santos and Blaine County, it isn't on the soundtrack (only the Los Santos part) but the game starts to mix in the bassline from the Blaine county section whilst keeping most of the Los Santos flying track, and it just sounds amazing.

Sometimes it's really annoying. Especially when someone likes to get in police chases frequently.

I'm particularly fond of that little two note jingle that plays whenever you're in the hood.

The one that plays when you fly to North Yankton as Trevor is my favorite (i think its the one that plays during the parachute missions already mentioned)

I like quite a few others aswel, and also like how the soundtrack plays while online. The only thing i'm not sure about is the main theme, it just doesn't seem right,  it's just not that memorable to me, some of the in game music would fit better as the theme, like the track above may work as the loading screen etc...

I like it, though I also like an option to turn it off.
When I turn off the radio because I don't want to listen to music. I sometimes also don't want to listen to ambient music.

Overall it's nice, but I like an option to turn it off.

I hope they include it in a future update, i'd love pure silence.

I find myself driving around without the radio on more and more each time I play the game. Sometimes I actually forget and think the radio is playing beautiful music.

The parachute music to me kinda sounds like it could be off that movie Drop Zone :)

Another variation of it plays when you're wanted as well.
