The driving sucked in V?

Only time the driving wasn't bad is if you were Franklin.

(I WANTED TO MAKE THIS INTO A POLL. BUT THE MOBILE VERSION GETS THE SHT END OF THE STICK).

It was mediocre. Very 3D era GTA like. They had something in IV and all they had to do was tweak it, but no they felt they had to rebuild EVERYTHING and to be honest that didn't do many wonders at all.

The only thing I didn't like about the driving in V was how all the cars seemed to "burn out" whenever you go from a stop to a quick start.

Other than that, it's a big improvement over V's

It's way better than IV's which was like boats in Vice City! The driving is best for jumping on those hills and endless countryside.
The physics and handling are improved version of Midnight Club LA.
Also, don't expect Trevor to drive good.

Really.....

Seriously Controling you car in mid-air? It's not a dirtbike.

Then again... It all comes down to how you feel about the techniques.

The mobile version of gtaforums does suck. I don't have a computer, so I feel you with the mobile thing, but I'm afraid we have differing opinions when it comes to car handling. Personally, I thought the driving mechanics were great, even though it takes some getting used to after playing GTA IV. I'm just now starting to fly out of my window and die less.

I don't think it sucks, but it's obvious R* catered to those that didn't know how to use a brake in GTA IV.

It's not a dirtbike but it's not a ship also. It's a big improvement since IV. I think it's great, however, this doesn't mean I love controlling cars in the sky.

Good point about the terrain. IV's physics would not be very good driving across a lot of those hills, grass and even areas of Sandy Shores.

The difference isn't even that drastic between IV and V in my opinion. If just feels better and driving at top speeds and weaving between oncoming traffic is still dangerous but fun as hell in V.

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't see difference between the driving mechanics in IV and V, other than that some cars don't feel as heavy in V.

It sure as hell isn't like the 3D era driving mechanics, people are just looking for reasons to dislike the game.
