What I find hilarious is that on the current map LS airport is the same length as the entire city itself, that's what pisses me of most about the map, aswell as the completely empty countryside.

I remember when I first saw the leaked map and how shocked I was to see the city squished in the bottom of the map, I was worried, so worried that all that green space to the north was going to be barren and dull. Peeps on the forums would tell you to just wait and see, see that actually all that space is going to be brimming with content but alas, as expected, my worries were all too painfully real come release.

I also remember when people use to theorize about there being more land behind Mt. Chiliad.

Honestly, am I the only who liked it better when we really didn't know anything about the map? :/

And t be honest, I would have preferred this even if it does insult me. :p

Minus all the extra, excluding sh*t like Steak Island, Flooded LC, VC, Analda, and North Yankton in a rightful place.

It honestly should've had a layout like that. Then we'd have lots of areas that felt secluded instead of only a countable few.

The one I just showed?

Maybe this thread should be about fan-made maps, and wishing the map were similar.

HAHAHA, that big ass Grove Street and all the North Yankton-airports cracked me open.

On topic: I like the map, but I would have preferred a bigger forest (with more type of animals like bears) and maybe a slightly bigger desert.

Map is too fine to me, well I thought desert places will be on map more than just a Grand Senora Desert, but I'm happy with everything what R* did.
Without taxi contact on phone.. I can't only imagine hah.

How exactly would a landlocked map work with planes?

Pretty much similar to how underwater works. You go too far you die. It's not like an endless ocean is any more fun unless they hide something far out in it.

Exactly, it works quite well atm. I much prefer going too far out then having my engines just go out - its pretty epic imo :)  It's much, much better then going to far out then realizing you have to go alllll the way back or just die in a much less awesome fashion.

It might not be the final map after a few DLC's, will there be another island?

I agree with you OP.

I can't believe Rockstar put the Alamo sea where it is in GTA V.

Unlimited desert? Your health could start to go down after going out too far.
