first off let me say i love this game. but i dont like the map.
there isnt a place in the game that makes you feel alone like in san andreas. no matter where you are in the map you can always see the los santos skyline or hear the sounds of cars. there are no forests just mountains and barren land.
remember the back o beyond. nothing like that in the map.
not only is there a lack of explorable wilderness. the map does not feel as big as it really is. the reason for this is because we got a tall rectangle map. if the map was wider it would have been much more intimidating.
this is my idea of what the map should have looked like. excuse my paint skills.
if the map was wider it would have givin us the effect of it being even bigger that it is. and i also added some stuff like woodlands and a ghost town which is what we all wished for.
compare my map with the real map
do you guys think if they removed one of the many mountains, added woods, a couple small towns and squashed the map to make it wider. then maybe it wouldnt feel so packed. because when im in blaine county i dont feel the isolation of the desert. i know san andreas felt huge because of the draw distance but i also think this map is too cluttered and would have been better if we had one less mountain and more space between places.
