The only GTA i've ever put down "for good" was 2 because I hated it at the time. I still play all the GTA's I own, and V will be no exception.

Since completing the main storyline in SP more or less three weeks ago, I have barely played it. There is just not much to keep me going back to play it.

My cousin insists online is very good and I should try it. I will, but I'm just not to excited about online gaming in general, so it will take a while before I feel motivated for it.

I don't get this imagination that people are talking about? What am I supposed to come up with? New ways of killing people?

People don't seem to understand we appreciate a rather long-ass story rather than a short, sixty-f*cking-nine mission, which some are literally 2-3 minutes.

After the story and side-stories are done, boom, it's finished, it's put down for good, only reason I purchased V is because of MP, that's what gets me back to V every time.

I'm still working my way through the story, I dunno when i'll put it down, perhaps in 2-3 months, the online is fun, but too complex to find what you want for me, and auto-aim pisses me off, so probably won't be playing that much longer.

Yep. I could stare at a wall and make it somewhat entertaining via "imagination", but that doesn't mean it's an entertaining f*cking wall.

Simple, I won't. I haven't actually put down a game for good unless it was a flop *cough Test Drive Inlimited 2cough* or the disc broke. IV is a game I will never stop playing and all of the other GTA's are timeless too.

V isn't actually a timeless game to me, but I won't just stop playing it. I will have times where I ignore it for months, but not years. IV will be a game I'll play a lot now though.

it depends... i dont find many games that i like as 99% of games are either about aliens or zombies and i hate them both. the other kind of games i like are sport games and now they only do roster updates every year while offering no improvement or new features.

with that said, ill be living in los santos/blaine county for a long long time.

i never put down my games for good anyway.

A few more weeks (maybe). Driving around there are cool areas, but now that random events don't respawn there isn't much to do. I wish they would have made a few more raid missions (the weed farm will not respawn for me), bounty and assassination missions. I guess I have to decide to trade in now to get the most value toward another title.

Giving my PS3 to my father (for Netflix) next Friday and I downloaded GTAV from the PSN store, so it's going with.

I mean, once every now and then when I go back to his place I'll play, but as soon as the PS4 comes out I can't see why I would play.

I stopped playing as much like a week ago. Online got really boring, got everything I wanted.... Went back to play Dishonored and a few other games.

I'll probably put it down for a while after I finish my youtube series for it. I'll pick it up again probably a few months later and whatnot. Tends to happen. I just can't ever leave GTA games completely. ;)

For me it's more like one hour. I had to play Three Leaf Clover one last time before I went to the midnight launch.

I guess what I do is this "imagination" people talk about. I like to cruise around, absorb the environment, and sometimes think about the history of certain buildings that exist in real life that I have actually researched. And by cruise, I literally mean cruise. I speed when I get a chance but I like to follow the road laws sometimes.

It was funner in IV, honestly. The driving physics were more comfortable and there were more interiors/buildings that caught my architectural interest. :)

When it comes out for PC? Not for a a good 4 or 5 years, for sure, depending on how mod-friendly the game ends up being.

Similar here, I was off work that day and played FM one more time.  Just cruising on a hexer.

Those games all have a key element v is missing. Replay value. Even vigilante missions or bounties would go a long way. But nope. Yoga it is

You cam do whatever you want. Use your imagination, that's the point. After the story's done, I like to roleplay. I, as Michael, take Franklin and play golf with him, do other rich people things. Then, when I'm Franklin, I do stuff with fast cars (Races, stunt jumps, etc.).

Trevor's a whole other thing. I go on absolute rampages with him.

Basically, roleplay.

i finished the story a little over a week ago. i still have strangers and freaks missions.online is ok, to be honest, it's actually a lot of fun and i have great times playing jobs with a steady group, but usually it takes 10 minutes to get a good job or race going.but in my experience half the time i get a job going, 2-3 people stay for another job and just stay for as long as i'm on, and i don't mind 4 people races.team death match is alot of fun.

i play online usually once every 2 days for just a bit, sometimes for an hour.single player is still fun.i'v been just going to grove street having fun bunny hopping and i've lately been using the super jump and fast run cheatcode.i only have 30 million on each character so checking my stocks will keep me motivated to play for a while.really just dying doing something makes me do it again which ends up in a lot of playing time to do something as simple as stealing a bike from ballas. grove street and exploring the rest of the hood will be good for atleast a week.then i will find playboy mansion.maybe do a few parachute jumps.really just doing things like this in the city will be good for a few weeks, and the the country side will also be good.i can see me putting this game down in january, just because i want to get AC IV by then, but i should be able to play a bit of both every day.

For good? Don't know. Haven't played it for 2 weeks because it just lacks replay value for me. The side missions are tedious as hell. Online was a let down for me so it really is hard to see when I will unless the heists look even the slightest bit interesting. If there is any "big" DLC (which won't be in the near future) then I will come back to it.

I had foreseen most of these comments.

GTAs on consoles just don't have the same replay-ability without mods.

Plus most of them haven't done 100%.

I have done 100% on PS3 lol

Now I will wait for GTA V PC.
