f*ck off trick or treaters fed up of answering the god damn door to your sh*t. The next time one of them holds out there pumpkin shaped candy bucket I am going to spit in it.

How do you deal with trick or treaters when playing GTAO and what can R* do to stop them?

Go to a strip club, take a chick to the private room and start a private dance. Turn volume up to full and watch the horrified looks of the parents that show up at your doorstep. This works best if the TV is loud and visible from the door where they'll be knocking.

If she is answering the door she's not bringing stuff up to me. It's a problem.

I live in a quite secluded place, thus trick-or-treaters are not common here, lol.

you're not obligated by law to answer the door. just ignore them. or put up a sign that says "a sex offender lives here". that should do the trick

I've never seen a trick-or-treater come a day early or before 6oclock. Leave your porch light off and that is a universal sign to not go to that house. Simple as that. I always hated people who left their porch lights on and not answer the door. f*cking idiots wasted my time as a kid.

I just ignore them. I don't have anything here to give them to be honest not that I would give them any if I did. I mean I hate it when random people I don't know knock my door and ask me stupid questions or talk about god so why should random kids knocking my door be any different.

I put a table out front with a sheet over it. Run a compressed air line under the table and attach to the leg of the table. Place a huge bowl of candy and a sign that says "Take one only". Kid takes more than one or is some punk ass teenager who should be elsewhere, nice short blast on the air line. Hilarity ensues ;)

I have a tried and true solution to this issue:

Dont be an American, and dont celebrate their sh*tty American holidays.

Works every year.

Halloween's celebrated all around the world though... it's likely more important to Americans than it is for other parts of the world however.

Halloween is not celebrated all around the world, its acknowledged all around the world. There's a difference.

Trick or treating isnt a thing in lots of places. For many, the most you will get is themed parties, but to be honest those parties at put on by people who either leap at any chance for a theme, or have a year round interest in the creepy and scary and such.

I see. Well, perhaps my choice of words was poor in the first place, since I don't even know anyone non-American who doesn't celebrate it.

This.  always turn you're porch light off.  If kids knock, its their own fault.

Back when I lived in the states, I always took on the responsibility of being the candy giver. Crafty ol' me always pulled tricks to limit the number of visitors so I could have all the candy.

Nowadays, as an adult, I just go fuggit, buy all the candy I want.

Open the door and in your best Trevor voice scream "GO f*ck YOURSELF I AM PLANNING A HEIST" then slam the door. :)

How about you don't answer the door? You could wear headphones and forget about the world.

Why a stripper when you could get a hooker, and exhaust the f*ck out of her for a little over a hundred in your car? I mean, it sounds like a porn, and the car shakes. Turn that up loud, and make it visible. Make sure there is lotion, and a box of kleenex nearby for added aesthetics. I don't think parents would enjoy that.

Keep the light at your front door off?

I know times have changed but when I was out trick or treating if someone had their light off, we didn't go to their house as it meant they weren't home or weren't giving out candy.

I'm glad I live in an out-of-the way area where very few people live near by and and even fewer people know about. The whole concept of trick-or-treating to me is just obnoxious. "Let's dress our kids up once a year and allow them to go door to door and annoy perfect strangers for candy."  Great idea! Should be perfectly safe these days, too.

Can also turn out porch lights. That's universal for "We are not celebrating, go away"

What about "trunk or treating"?
