What are your plans for Halloween this year? Share your plans and experiences.

I'm going to be joining six friends of mine at a party this year. One of those friends will be choosing a set of costumes to make it a bit more fun for us all. We'll also be going to a theme park the day before Halloween to attend the annual Scare Fest.

It's not really something we do in Australia although we still get trick or treaters where I live. In saying that my university is throwing a big Halloween party. Hmmmm.

Walking miles so my son can fill up a bag of chocolates and candy that he'll never eat. Come home, pour it all on the table, and say the usual 'oh man, look at that one son, good job buddy' .. then he'll crash and I'll be here, wasting my normal free time as usual.

Halloween is not a thing here in SA. We see halloween shows on tv, and some shops sell stupid freaky stuff, but that's about it... I'm sure some people throw halloween parties tho...

Every year since I stopped trick-or-treating I told myself I'd stay up late and watch scary movies, or play scary games, or do some necromancy, but every year except the first I've always fallen asleep really early on Halloween. :/ Doesn't help at all that the 31st is a weekday this year.

I guess I'll go out and buy myself a big bag of candy, maybe that'll help a little.

Lights out. Curtains drawn. And a sign hanging on the front door that reads "f*ck off, kiddos! =)"

Sit in my soiled underwear with a bottle of Woodford Reserve. Threaten children when they come to my door.

I love Halloween. It's had something for me at most ages so far. Obviously as a kid you go trick or treating and love that. Then you get to secondary school age and become a dickhead who goes around egging things (or rather, that happens on Mischief Night mostly) because that's what you do when you're young and inconsiderate. I'm not saying that was a good thing to do, I hate the kids who do it now, but I can't lie and say I had no fun getting chased off people who  were less than pleased.

Now, since going to college and through to the other side of uni Halloween just when you dress up, get drunk and go clubbing. I'd say it might be the best night out of the year, giving NYE a good run for its money.I went out twice last year, once with some generic skeleton makeup on on actual Halloween and as the horse from The Godfather for the Saturday night:

jCrYY00.jpg

This year I'm going clubbing with three mates as the Teletubbies on the actual day. Then I've got some liquid latex coming in the post to try and get some skanky-ass skin texture and zombie makeup going on for Saturday night when I don't really fancy wearing a hot costume 'cos I'm going to a Halloween themed rave at a big old warehouse. Should be amazing!

Last year nobody actually came to my door. I felt kind of broken-hearted. I think my dog puts every one off, she's got a really loud bark and after all the maulings in the news and stuff parents seem to steer clear of us because they don't want a disfigured child. Which is somewhat understandable.

We've still got some sweets in though, so if they do come we can give them some diabetus.

Halloween is huge in my neighborhood. People from other parts of the city actually commute over for it.

Over $200 in candy is loaded and ready to be distributed from my front porch. We are out there for a good three hours usually.

Fun times.

I'm going to destroy every single costume/party related to this chaotic day. No quotes please, thanks.

I never knew so many countries didn't 'celebrate' Halloween. I guess it seems peculiar to me because I've always done so, as have most people in England.

I usually stay up watching horror movies the day after Halloweeen. I will be doing that this year too, once my hangover from the party passes!

Would eliminate the need for an expensive costume though.

I love carving pumpkins.  I'm doing a Batman Pumpkin this year.

This on the front... Batolanternfinal.jpg

And this somewhere on the top back, so the light shines on the wall...

I'll post pictures of the finished product.

Probably gonna wear my mask and go walk around town.

I'm fairly young but I don't want candy.

Put on a hockey mask and walk around, repeating the same small route several times to scare the neighbourhood folk.

I'm going to sit on my porch as a scarecrow and not move. When the little kids come up to get candy the only thing they'll be going home with is a load of sh*t in their pants.
Or I'll put a bowl of candy on my lap with my Sgt. dick sticking through a hole in the bottom, then when a kid grabs it, I'd jump up and scream SEXUAL ASSAULT!!!! and sue the sh*t out of his parents. Man, I just can't wait.

Will make sure you get it on tape

Maybe trying out a costume, take a selfie myself and uploading on Facebook, that'll be a whole lot better. We really don't have trick or treats existing in our country.

Tomorrow marks the first halloween that I don't go trick or treating. I don't enjoy parties. I don't want to spend money going to halloween haunt with my friends.

So I'll be playing video games in my room, while binge-eating from boxes of chocolates while my lights are off so no kids come knocking.
