They just said the Beach Bum pack will launch early in November, I remember something about it being free? I remember that before.

They also said it can be used in story mode.

So does that mean, that the Heist DLC might also be used in story?

maybe; who knows;

what I do know is that there will be MAP dlc; starting with North Yankton (source from the game codes) with sp missions.

after that there will be Liberty City with possible sp missions.

And after that... who knows; more and more :D

As far as I've interpreted it is that it will just add the new cars to the story mode. Can't remember they said that there would be any other addition to the story mode. And yes, it's free.

"Both the Content Creator and the Beach Bum Pack are free."

IMO they should have said all DLC content will be free for GTA5. I am disappoint Rockstar, every day you look more like EA.

Just because some minor things were left in the games code, doesn't mean its going to be DLC..

And I highly doubt Liberty City will be DLC.

That's a bit of a long stretch for such small things.

The only DLC that should be free is the DLC to bring us the stuff they promised in the gameplay trailers. Any content created after that should be paid for based upon its value. DLC doesn't just pop out overnight unless they removed it from the main game, and I highly doubt they actually removed things to make them into DLC. They're not anywhere near that level yet. *looks at cash cards* ... yet...

Exactly! I'm happy Rockstar are actually giving us free stuff and if something big comes along, selling it is fine. They don't live to give us free stuff.

lol, dont act like EA is the only company that charges for DLC. Even so, so far I havent seen any prices for future DLC other than Beach Bum pack which is free.

Stop jumping to conclusions.

If it is something that truly extends the story or adds new gameplay then I will buy the DLC. If it's something locked on-disk or that should have shipped with the complete game to begin with then no way! I drew my line in the sand against THQ (never again).

Honestly I think they should make all DLC entirely free so it doesn't break apart the multiplayer.

I would gladly fork out $10-$20 in cash cards/microtrans to help donate towards free-DLC for all.

It's all free. They will come in the form of new title updates.

I'll only pay if it's something big, like a new map. Or a new batch of 60-100 new missions including new characters and new customisation/vehicles because of these additional missions.

Considering how much they f*cked up the game, yes.

It's weird with the amout of people complaining about DLC's costing money.. While none complain about the game it self cost almost $70
