It looks like it's due for a 2015 release. What do you wish for?

For me;
-a female protagonist. Getting sick of male protagonists and yes, I'm a guy lol
-a return to Stilwater
-STAG to be allies with the Saints
-better driving physics.
-romance; straight & bisexual relationships wouldn't bother me lol, especially if the female protagonist would date Shaundi or Viola :p

I feels as though Volition & Deep Silver went full retard with the idea of The Zin atomizing Eath in IV. Hopefully SRV will deliver :)

I haven't played any of the games in this series, but I know enough about them to say that this franchise pretty much died with the release of Saints Row IV. If they tone down the stupidity in the next one I might be interested.

One thing for sure, it's not going to be similar to Saints Row The Third or IV

The only thing I've heard is that if they make another one, it won't involve any of the characters we already know about.

No. Why? What's wrong with a permanent female protagonist? In SR3, I play as a female, nothing wrong with that...

I don't get what you mean by the female protagonist thing though? You get to choose to be male or female throughout the series, as you know. So do you mean you want a non-user created protagonist and for that protagonist to be female, or do you mean a non-playable character?

Yeah, non user created lol. It would be fresh for the SR series, but I guess that's up to the creators of the game :)

- Cant you already be a female?

- Doubt it. Volition really has all their wangs up Stealports bootyhole.

You might be in luck though. One of Volitions higher ups in an interview already stated SR4 was the final game in the original canon. The next game, V, will be a reboot.

Hopefully they bring back the "Ghetto" and the formula that made the series so good. Sure, people called it a GTA SA clone. But who cares? The stories of 1 and 2 were just amazing.

Anyways, if SRV is like SR3 or IV, please for the love of god just let this series die...

Make it like SR2.

If there's any wacky BS, I'll ignore it like IV.

I would like them to put some effort and respect into the game like they did with the first two parts.

The crapiness of the first two games caused the series to become an autoparody.

I don't know what the first one was like because it wasn't released for PS3, but I can tell you, Saints Row 2 was my top favorite & Saints Row The Third was good. Kinda liked its story. Saints Row 4 kinda disappointed me. But it was kinda better than I expected.

If 5 is a reboot, it'd be great if they'll use current characters, including Benjamin King.

Kinda sad when Oleg was killed :(

They should combine the insane action of the third with the gritty story of the first two. That would make a great game. Think of Fast and Furious.

I agree with most of you. If they bring it back to the "serious" gangster theme from the first two, then i'll welcome it with open arms. But if it's anything like The Third and IV, then let it f*cking die... So no dildo bats and super powers!!

4 was really funny made me laugh out loud but the missions were not even interesting to give a second look.

I wish SR5 focuses equally on making quality missions, bigger map and increases difficulty overall

It's not a bad game if you play it for passing some free time but it lacks that replay value compared to GTA series

I didn't get the point of Loyalty Missions in IV. I hope SR5's story line will be epic. SR2 was the best, SR3's story was good.

Yeah, Saints Row 5 should go back to the roots of 2 but a bigger map, HD universe, retaining current characters. Driving physics need to improve. Hated it in 3 & 4. I said romance before & what I meant was like a long term romance thing :p Pierce & Viola, I don't know, the protagonist & Shaundi, a lesbian relationship, lol

They should just let the SR series go. I mean it's been going on since 2006 and has too many sequels in a short period. Just look at SR4, they released it pretty much instantly after SR3 because it was pretty much scrapped DLC ideas. If they really wish to continue the series, then they should just pick another name, sit back and think of a real story and start fresh.

SR3 came out in 2011 and IV came out in 2013. How is that instantly?

I don't know about you, but I find it strange when a company designs and publishes a game in less than one year and a half.

1. No I what to keep the ability to chose who I want. It's one of Saints Row's strengths and you want get rid of it?

2. Doubt we will ever return to Stilwater.

3. STAG was disbanded between 3 and 4. So they aren't coming back.

4. Driving needs to be improved. This is the only good point you brought up.

5. We already have romances in 4.They aren't well developed, but that's the point of them. Plus at least they are better than Mass Effect's.

6.

Spoiler

Your list really sucks.

This. Removing an option is pretty stupid.
