It's a toss-up between the Gauntlet and the Dominator. Both of them are pretty much equals, though.

Average speed? How does that work?
Do you know which has the highest top speed?

How are you clocking accurate speeds

I took the distance (3.79 Miles on Route 68) and divided it by the time given for completing it. That gives me the average MPH of each car.

The races tell you how long the races are so he probably divides that by time to run a race. But this is one dudes testing. Who knows how terrible a driver he is.

I generally tried to keep the car on the yellow line when I drove it. There were no spin outs, stops, or loss of acceleration while testing.

Why doesn't someone just take the distance conversion tool provided in game, measure the distance of the airport (staying on the runway, of course), and use that data to make your own tables, rather than criticizing someone who actually tried to benefit you guys by giving an educated guess on exact speeds?

Have you tested any other classes? I'd love to see your results.

That's interesting.. I thought for sure the Gauntlet would be at the top. Still hate the Dominator anyways lol

Hmm, I just did this with my akuma. (no turbo boost at start, EMS 2, Turbo, sports transmission) and it came out to 110.03 mph
Then I took out my Bati 801RR.. same modifications but only 107.04mph.
The opposite of what I expected since everybody says the Bati is faster in straightaways which that track mostly is.
[edit: just did this with my Gauntlet and ended up at 104mph. A few faster than Skareo's but maybe the engine mods make a difference.]

Doing this with a few more bikes. My hexer turned in a respectable 95mph!
Drove my Akuma again but I didn't bother pushing forward on the left analog and averaged 108.7mph. A little slower but not by much!

Okay.. this is probably redundant but I had to know whether there was difference between the regular Bati 801 and the Bati 801RR. I double checked to see if my Bati 801RR was fully modded and it was. Took it for a race and it was the same... 107 mph.
So I bought the regular Bati 801... modded it out to hell and it maxed out at 107mph. No difference.
The Akuma is still faster. And that has me wondering where this idea that the Bati is faster on straightaways. Urban legend? Likely.

You definitely earned that like for debunking the "Bati-go-fast" legend

Small update on this.. Didn't realize it but I had upgrade options for EMS 4 and the race transmission. I upgraded my Akuma to EMS 4 only.. went out on Route 68 and finished with 111.47mph. A little bit better than my previous top speed of 110.03 mph. Less than I thought though.
Then I added the race transmission but some joker got into the race lobby and I forgot to turn catchup off, heh. (guess I could have kicked him, didn't think of it at the time). He never had a chance of winning but my final speed was 107.77mph because of catchup
Did the race again, alone and with both the EMS 4/Race Tranny and my speed topped out at 111.83mph. Race Tranny doesn't seem to do much in this regard. Gonna give a few more goes to see if these results are consistent.
