But I think micro-transactions have been disabled because of the money retention issues in game

Yeah it is really unfortunate, the fact that they even offer the micro transactions is really kind of irritating to me, never thought I would see Rockstar resort to grabbing for wallets, but sadly they haven taken the Electronic Arts approach on this one.

Apart from the fact that R* should simply run a public beta period to avoid all this mess, I don't consider that kind of micro transactions a good move in the first place. It's going to be this way for a looong time.

Ya, Rockstar is getting a little greedy in the throats with the microtransactions.  Lame.
