I'm hoping that once the dust settles, Rockstar will give us payouts that are equal to our efforts instead of just cutting everything in half. I played these two missions last night with one other person and it was ridiculous how different they were:
Rooftop Rumble -- One group of enemies, maybe like 12 guys. Grab the document, go to Madrazo's (or however you spell it) house. Payout: $12,500. This takes maybe 5-6 minutes, at most. If you fly the heli there and then to the dropoff point, you can do it in 3-4 minutes.
The Los Santos Connection -- Three different locations and groups of enemies. Destroy five vehicles at the hanger. More enemies after you grab the coke. Heli shows up with more enemies. You grab a Buzzard and hunt down the plane that takes off, unless you can destroy it before it has time to take off. Even if you grab a heli to take you around when you start the mission, you're still looking at maybe 15 minutes. I can't remember the exact payout, but I think it's $8000.
That doesn't make sense at all. And because all of the missions are halved, some will never be played. I used to enjoy playing Meth'd Up, because I could do it in just a few minutes and only have to kill two people. But at only $2500, it's a waste of time. And many missions are like this.
I also think they should adjust for the number of players on a team. If I do a mission alone, I should at least get an extra $500 or $1000, maybe even more for the hardest missions.
I understand that Rockstar did this out of desperation because people were farming, but they're basically making everything unbalanced, and some missions will rarely be played again because of it.
