I'm mainly pissed about all the things you can do in online you can't do in SP eg. Buying beer, cigarettes, apartments, insurance just to name a few.

Delivering substandard content to a new generation of fans who know no better and will pay for anything generic and/or meaningless as long as it has our name on it.

Over ambitious ? No. They've not done anything ground breaking...and the game doesn't really have anything new that wasn't in previous versions.

Even online isn't anything special. It's basically just missions, deathmatches, etc, tied together by open world freemode and sugar coated with a role playing element which is really no more than collecting cash and cars.

I think they could have been a lot more ambitious.

You talking about R* or this f*ckers f*ck. Could be both, but the reference is perfect.

But then again the popularity of stupid is something I will never understand and pro wrestling, oh who am I kidding my mind just threw up everything that is wrong with television.

Wrestling, the leader of the fad of scripted reality ( wrestling coming no where near ) television.

Yea, you hit a chord.

I wanted to tick more than one of the options....that says it all.  If I absolutely had to choose I guess it would be SP just because it hasn't annoyed me as much as online.  I brought this game for online because I wasn't really interested in the story other than the fact that I liked the option of switching between characters.  Online for me has been the most annoying boring sack of crap and that's AFTER I was finally able to play a few times after all the server problems and patches.  It just puts me in a bad mood...especially looking at my hideous character that looks like a linebacker.  I go into a session and all I hear is annoying little kids speaking foreign languages.  Which for me sucks as an American.  That's the downside of being in Europe as opposed to North America, even though I'm in the UK.  You finally play a session and it's full of idiots.  Most of my friends on my list don't play GTA and I can't play with my brothers or other family members because they're all on XBox.  I guess GTA online can be great if you have a fun reliable group of friends who live in the same time zone as you and speak the same language or manage to get online when you do but for me so far not great.  So single player it is.

This. Exactly this. It should be fun, and fun shared with friends. Not fun ruined by dickheads.

They were pretty sure that they were going to set a new standard for online gaming with GTAO which didn't and won't happen no matter how many content updates and dlc they release. The SP was spectacular and it's really sad that online took a lot of stuff away from it.

Online has ruined almost every major gaming franchise (Assassins Creed being the prime example) I don't get why R* is going after it with such passion. SR and Sleeping Dogs that are worse games than GTA didn't even bother with online and I don't think that hurt their sales

I agree with 'JonnJonnz'

GTA V is a fantastic game and the long wait was well worth it. But if it turns out that Online is what they will only support with dlc and patches then i will not be as quick to buy the next title i the series, dare i say maybe never... Rockstar could turn out to be a great parody of themselves. Truly sad indeed.

I like the game, I dont exactly like the nerfs they did, but I like every aspect of it. I had a great time playing single player, I have a great time playing online.

Right now they're overambitious to take the fun out of gta online.. It takes forever to make money via missions and still they're removing the easy ways which take a lot of time anyway.

I'm not bothered playing gta online anymore.

Hell, I just realized I haven't played the game (SP and MP) in 3 weeks -.- Only a few times for 5 minutes or something, then I turned my ps3 off because I was bored already, or something annoyed me.

GJ ROCKSTAR!! :D

-.-

Singleplayer does not feel finished.

I'm honest. It does not feel finished. The fact that there is so much more content in Multiplayer does not make it better.

But a part from the content there is what I would call outright idiotic design choices. The aggressive AI, ''one punch, one kill'', the watered down melee combat, engines being shut of if driving to far outside of the map, the annoying Killflash.

To bad, because the game is very close to a straight 10/10 but in my opinion it simply does not qualify for that

Cutting down SP features to feed Online/DLC. That seriously pissed me off. I had always thought Rockstar higher than, say EA, because they DIDN'T do that.

Red Dead Redemption felt more ambitious than GTA V in terms of storyline and setting. While GTA V has some nice concepts going for it, it doesn't really feel as innovative as it could have.

That's what it sounds like when you hit the nail on the head!! Sooo true!

R* only spent a little over 2 years developing V and it shows. They had this dream that they were gonna ca$h in on the online stuff, but what a folly that was. At least we see where R* is headed or what their intentions are at this point. The future of GTA will be mostly online.--The downward spiral of R* games starts now.

They used the GTA name to ca$h in. That's it, and it's sad that so many game dev's are trying to milk gamers for all they're worth. Let those type of dev's go bankrupt so new dev's who are into making great games, can move forward. GTA used to be about the new one being better than the old, but since IV, it just hasn't had no innovation. Only ways to get more money from us.

Online. And to be honest Online was hyped up beyond what it was. In addition they don't give a f*ck about SP anymore. I understand that they want people to like Online but man it just sucks. Not to mention Online is only fun with friends, but even then you can't have endless worryless fun. I mean damn:

Can't turn off cops
Can't blow up cars for fun
Have to worry about weapons
Have to worry about healthcare bill
Have to worry about this Bad Sport bullsh*t

I'm in a love hate relationship with GTA V and Onlinr, lets just say that.

You know what I hated about Online? When some bellend kills me and I have to watch some stupid Chris Formage cutscene before I can respawn and get revenge.

We don't hate it, we just don't want to be forced to go on line for features that should have been on single player too

well, at least the most important of them

I just don't understand why Rockstar all of a sudden developed thick skulls. How the f**k can they can they not see that GTA just is not built to be a MMO ??
