Who all that bought the CE of GTA IV feels ripped off besides me?

I thought the CE for this game would be sooo much better!

I mean, lets compare.

GTA IV CE: $150 USD

The Game - of course.

Large Duffel Bag - Can be used for a lot of things, awesome!

Fully functional lockbox - How epic is that!?

Hard cover art book - I would love to have that!

Soundtrack CD - Sweet toons!

---------------------------------------------------

GTA V CE: $150 USD

The Game - in a tin case that dents easily.

Era 59 adjustable hat - Okay.. not much of a flat bill guy, I'll never wear it.

Locking zip up bank bag? - Can't think of one good use for this.

DLC for online - 2 sh*tty cars that cant brake or turn, one of which is an "electric" car that has a f*cking internal combustion engine under the hood and can get turbo and exhaust upgrades, and a slow motor bike.

GTA 4 had such a better CE, wtf happened? Is R* that money hungry?

I can't see myself buying another CE from R* ever again. I mean, I mainly bought it to support them but after what I've seen with this games online mode I don't think I want to anymore.

Any CE owners agree or disagree?

I ended up only getting the SE, and even regret doing that (weapons were useless in the scheme of things, and I never used the stunt trials planes. And since my clothing stores, custom stores, hairdressess and tatoo parlous are still inaccessible as of now due to a common glitch, there goes my discount and exclusive clothing).

But comparing the two, they're both underwhelming.

I got the GTA 4 CE because It came with a decent amount of PHYSICAL items. Heck I still use the Lockbox to this day, I'm also a big fan of art books and the music is always a big plus. I didn't go all out for V CE because I didn't think looking at it I could justify depending that amount of money.

I got the Special Edition. Wouldn't if I could choose again, but whatever it's done. I broke my no $60+ games rule for GTA V because GTA IV impressed me. Now GTA VI will suffer because GTA V didn't impress me. *shrug* Oh well.

Same goes for me, Not sure I will even buy GTA VI at launch, I will most likely wait for PC and mod the living sh*t out of it to make it a better game.

Eh, I think GTA V gave me enough enjoyment to justify getting VI at launch or near launch. But I'm not going to be as excited for it as I was for V. IV just hit a special mark and I never regretted buying it for $60 and later for $10 on PC when I got a PC that could run it. I've gotten hours of enjoyment from the game. GTA V I can say I also got plenty of enjoyment out of, but where IV will always be one of those classics for me, V will be the game I pick up every now and then for the fun Hollywood plot and not much else. Unless the PC version has a video editor... I'm not a big modder.

I don't think R* was creative enough with their CE.

Apart from GTA IV having a better CE than GTA V, other games deliver a lot more for that kind of money.

I wonder what they were thinking?

I never EVER E.V.A.R thought I would come to this but, I think I will RENT the next GTA first before buying it.

Edit: If I, of course, end up buying it.

Wasn't the GTA IV CE only $99? I don't remember paying $150 for it.

It's not worth $150 at ALL but I also thought the GTA IV CE was awful.

I would at least rather have the GTA IV CE over this crap.
