Welcome to the official Players Justice Thread (PJT) a place where the average GTA player comes together and acts as a collective force to demand justice, acknowledgement & respect.
There I was, sometime in September, a devout Rockstar fan waiting eagerly for the release of GTA: V. Not hoping, but expecting a piece of art, a game of epic proportions of which none other can compete. Back then Rockstar were the top dollar, the dogs bollocks, the undeniable, undefeated superstar developer of the gaming industry. They were untouchable. After GTA: V was released I spent many hours playing single player, completing the missions, following the story, taking in the breathtakingly beautiful city, admiring its perfections and artistic excellence. It was an engrossing single player whilst it lasted, and to know that I had multiplayer to look forward too only increased my enjoyment.
After I had done my due with single player and the multiplayer was available to download, I went right ahead to see what kind of online universe Rockstar had crafted. To my disappointment I was met with all sort of errors and problems. It took me a week before I could even play. I put it down to bad luck and a lack of knowledge on Rockstars part when it came to the realm of online gaming, after all, it was a brand new endeavor for them as it was us. Once everything was seemingly in order, apart from the terrible glitches that gifted many players who exploited these bugs an unfair advantage, the game was fun, and had potential.
After 1.04 there were further problems. One day I loaded up GTA and my character level 49 with five million in the bank and an array of beautiful super cars had been deleted. I was met at the dreaded character creation screen. My only though was that enough was enough. It was time to quit. I could not carry on playing without any confidence whatsoever that any character I may create would last on what seemed to be awfully maintained servers. Everything seemed so unstable. So careless. Even worse... Nobody seemed to care.
This thread was created as a place where all injustice can dwell in one place, in effort to secure acknowledgement & respect from Rockstar. A place where all of the problems are bought together as one to develop clarity and a clear view on what exactly is wrong with GTA: V.
To the average gamer who has encountered errors, glitches, character deletion and lack of support, he will surely know that feeling of frustration and not knowing where to go or what to do.
This thread hopes to diminish those feelings, so that in the future, players who are facing problems will be met with RESPECT, with ACKNOWLEDGMENT and with JUSTICE & ACTION.
This thread aims to highlight and put an end to Rockstars 'bury our heads in the sand' mentality. In no way is this thread an attack, but a sanctuary for the little man, for the average gamer who feels hopeless in comparison to Rockstars might.
A place for the individual to channel his voice through a machine, a collection of similar individuals demanding the same thing so that he may be heard.
As individuals we will achieve nothing. Creating single threads complaining about such and such will do nothing. As a collective force however, we can change the future.
IT IS RIGHT TO FORGIVE FOR ONE MISTAKE. HOWEVER AS WE HAVE SEEN IN ROCKSTARS CASE THINGS HAVE GONE FURTHER THAN JUST ONE MISTAKE. THERE HAS BEEN A COLLECTION OF ERRORS AND PROBLEMS THAT ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. WORSE THAN THAT HOWEVER, WE HAVE BEEN SHOWN NO RESPECT. A 500K STIMULUS PACKAGE? GET REAL.
WE WERE *NOT* BETA TESTERS AS FAR AS I AM AWARE. WE DESERVED BETTER. WE WILL GET BETTER.
PEOPLE HAVE LOST HOURS OF GAMEPLAY TIME AND GRINDING TO LEFT LEFT BEHIND BY ROCKSTAR, OFFERING NOTHING AS A TOKEN OF COMMISERATION.
WE DEMAND JUSTICE.
WE DEMAND RESPECT.
WE DEMAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT.
AND WE DEMAND ACTION.
Post below offering your support, and bump this thread with the phrase 'WE DEMAND JUSTICE'
