Has everyone now moved on too online? Tried getting into GTA online but the missions piss me off and the cloud servers always fck up. So am I the only one playing single player?

I play singleplayer way more than online. I don't know why, but online just bores the crap out of me pretty quickly.

No. I'm still mostly playing SP. I have been playing online a bit more recently as it seems to be working better and I've discovered the fun that can be had when playing with a friend but I still much prefer SP.

I bought the game at midnight release & I'm not even 50% complete. In fact, I finished 'Hood Safari' just 15 mins ago.

I'm still playing SP, simply because I don't have Live or anything.

Singleplayer and GTA go hand-in-hand. Always has. From the plot, to the exploration to the replayability. I prefer an interesting campaign that I can lose myself in, than a generic situation of just shooting internet folk which can be achieved in your typical FPS.

I am still playing the Single Player. When I got time for GTA...

I miss the Multiplayer like in GTA IV.

Now that the Online cloud is down (and I'm frustrated because I lost $40k and a couple performance modifications last night after being lied to about the game saving :/ ) I have a chance to get back to it.

I noticed it feels a lot more immersive than GTA:O does. In GTA:O I have no problem driving down the highway with a pump action shotgun, killing everyone I see, but it feels weird to do stuff like that in singleplayer, even with Trevor.

If in future they put more emphasis on Online Multiplayer, then that will be the beginning of the end for the franchise imo.

With SP, everybody gets to experience the game equally. With Online, people who have top of the range fibre optic broadband, will always play a better version of the game. Then you have the online microtransactions which allows people with a lot of disposable income, to leapfrog over everyone else.

I'm greatly enjoying the escapism of the single player game. It's the reason i've bought the game, and every other game in the series. So yes, very much so.

It's still kinda sad that online has a bit more features. I know R* is focused on trying to fix online but I hope SP never becomes second in line to online.

I've stopped playing GTA V except for my youtube channel for now. It actually inspired me to get 100% in GTA III and VC, which I haven't done before. I finished III yesterday so it's on to Vice City soon as I can find an original .exe for it. Stupid Steam version not allowing mods so I can't fix the widescreen issue.

I only ever play single player. I don't really understand what's so great about online games. It's just too weird a concept to me, like I really just don't get why it's fun. I have 132 hours put into SP and like to just go out exploring and absorbing the world. I signed up for online so I would be ready when the four new cars are released, I'm curious to see what they are - hoping for a Splitz-6 or equivalent - but other than that I have no motivation to play my character. I got him up to level 9 in a couple hours just seeing how online works but it looks very repetitive. I was hoping there would be more meat to these prequel story missions, but so far every one has been identical, either steal a car for Simeon or get into a shootout and steal drugs for Gerald. I'm more content just roaming alone in SP, exploring, and taking pictures.

I still play SP its awesome there are still some side missions which I have to do to achieve 100%

I played online for a few hours and it was boring as hell still dont understand why rockstar promoted that generic sh*t as something revolutionary and new

Single player-

1. I don't have Xbox Live so I can't play online if I wanted to anyway.

2. Single player fun :)

Yeah. Honestly I was looking forward to GTAO, but I think it was hyped up to be better than it really is. I played more of GTA IV MP actually.

SP all the way.

I want to enjoy gta online. But, right now it feels like a grind. I keep going back to single player.

I think the concept of gta online is awesome....its too young of an idea right now to work right.

I'm never going to touch the online mode, so yes, I still play single player, even if Rockstar lied and cut so much just to put it in the online mode. I've got over 1 week of total playing time for single player. Never have and never will be interested in multiplayer gaming.

3 weeks in and online is a mess again past 7-10 days have been decent but some of there actions and in-action have definitely made me wonder and the last patch is a disaster AGAIN your only missing out on lost time and frustration by sticking with singleplayer.....

Online is only fun with friends and I still prefer SP sometimes. I don't know, it just feels like the full package.
