About Niko returning in GTA V, I highly doubt it. Remember Michael Hollick (voice of Niko Bellic) is not in good term with Rockstar.
So, I can't imagine Rockstar to work with him anytime soon, nor mute Niko...

Then yes, a firing MP40 should be manageable, but it doesn't take away from the sheer ridiculousness. 

@theNGclan A six shooter??? A manly tear is rolling down my cheek. Now I'm hoping for more classics. And the "Escopeta", a shotgun. Hopefully an R870 or Mossberg 570 with wooden stocks, something you'd see in North Dakota. R*'s starting to make sense now

I'm okay with outrageous weapons as long as they also add the normal choices. The ACR could indeed be used by the police, but the Galil's probably criminal-only. I'm content with the weapons of choice as is, but a  (lever-action/bolt action) rifle or sniper are never unwanted, can't wait for this!

They were found in the last update. They were left behind from what I can see. Mainly, we have proof of new characters, weapons, map spots, etc.

I can imagine that the ACR would be used by state troopers or some other law enforcement agency. As far as the Galil, it make sense for being criminal-only. It may or may not be entirely factual, though, unless a good deal of real life criminals use Galils alongside AK-remakes.

I'd just like to add that this area isn't an interior. The game wouldn't permit certain actions if it was an interior. Sprinting, Shooting, Jumping, weather, etc. would all be disabled do to the game's hardcoded data for interiors. North Yankton IS in fact triggered via .SCO and it more than likely has it's own .XPL file.

 

For example, and interior cannot load weather data because it is disabled. So for example, if North Yankton WAS an interior, it wouldn't be able to load this:

Also, hardcoded data can be modified, but that requires learning how the RAGE engine has changed, so we won't be able to (easily) modify Yankton's data any further until the PC version.

 

 

EDIT 1: Shortened the code so it's easier to read and some of the most important data is shown

 

EDIT 2: Also, North Yankton more than likely be finished in a DLC, seeing as how it has more than one snow file.

Due to me still having GTA Online problems, I encountered a little glitch where I was playing single player as my online character. I could go into any one of the characters houses. I also went to the club (It's in Vinewood, and you go in there during a random encounter mission as Trevor). The door was not solid. I walked threw it, and instead of going into an interior, I simply fell underneath the map. I recorded a video of the glitch and I'll make a topic about it soon.

 

But if we can easily change the map like this with SCO modding on the PC, think of the stuff we could make. EX: A Back to the Future mod with a Hill Valley that changes through different time periods, etc...

My knowledge of RDR is a bit rusty after not playing it for a year or two, but I think it is. As far as its purpose in the game being, I can imagine it's found in some museum, gun collector's attic, or something similar.
