Trevor should've been a redneck peddling meth and pills instead of being a Canadian transvestite who is racist towards rednecks/rural folk.

Since when did anyone consider the rural poor to be their own race?

It is a seperate culture then yankees from...say...New York. When they attack this culture, which is over half of the population of amerika BTW, it is racism geared towards a certain group. It cannot be liberal spinned.

To be fair the rednecks in many cases have no issues whatsoever being bigoted towards many other groups so why get mad when they get a taste of their own medicine. If they just left everybody else alone and lived their lives nobody would have an issue but time and time again they are the ones that want to hold back progress so more liberal minded people start to resent them.

Proof. You're just making a bullsh*t generalisation. Go into any black neighborhood if you're white. You'll see what racism is fool. How do rednecks not leave people alone? We're not moving into cities in droves. You have lost all credibility with your abundant ignorance. What an ignorant, racist fool you are. You think being racist towards rednecks is "giving them their own medicine". That proves what you are. You lose. Liberals are the cancer of america and it is a big percentage of people who agree. Liberal loons are a small minority, just in case you obviously don't knowe that. You thinking that all rednecks are racist just shows what a idiot you really are. Most rednecks are generally kind and very clever. One last thing, most people know better than to f*ck with a redneck. Take that to the bank. Now run on along you racist, anti-white loon

Then why are the red states the ones constantly voting against gay marriage and constantly trying to tell women what they can and can't do with their bodies. The list goes on. They complain about big government but try to control the most personal details of people's lives. Red state conservatives largely have contributed to the negative image people have of them.

Who let this thread get stickied? The largest GTA message board website has an official "I'm disappointed" thread about the latest and largest GTA release? This is pathetic.

Learn how to deal with the haters, not give in to them.

you need to get to rank 37 before it unlocks and you will see it spawn at random helipads, do survial on boneyard by yourself over and over to rank up like i did, to find it was nothing like iv, the proper annihilator

How do I get the annihilator?

I got another one. This is online after a gang attack which are actually fun, but it aggravates me that when the perps die and you don't get to them on time their weapons are gone. I can get some of them, but I should be able to get them all. It's a minor thing but it would save money to be able to collect the guns. In RDR they never disappeared. I never just left I always picked up the guns.

Do you regret buying what will likely be Game of the Year 2013?

Yes. But only so soon, because it was a mistake to buy it during the first week at max cost.  Especially since the hype didn't justify the game price.  Should've waited a month or so for the price to go down and R* to work the main  bugs out. That would've saved on considerable migraines from char stats being screwed up, garage eating cars etc. char clothing glitches etc.

Do you feel like the botched online rollout was a crime against humanity?

Definitely felt ripped off after being denied content in SP.  Then finally getting online, only to discover all the content had been locked away and you had to grind missions to get it.  Increasingly disappointed with the lack of new content to date.  So don't think the stimulus will make much of a difference when it finally comes out either.  Because I'll already have made that much from playing missions etc. And most ppl will have moved on to CoD, AC4 and other titles by then  :rol:

Can you believe they didn't include Cricket?!!?!?!?

Yes. Cricket isn't exactly an American past time......   Besides, next to an RDR style interactive casino, I wanted Croquet, Bocce, and Baccarat.  These would've made a real nice addition to what you could do at the country club besides golf.

Grand Theft Auto Advance is better than this jizzvomit.

I sold the game 3 weeks after buying it. Might as well wait till it comes out for PC...

As far as attention to detail goes, I couldn't be further from disappointed.  But that's exactly where I think my feelings of disappointment with certain things in V stem from.  It seems like R* almost spent TOO much of their effort with capturing the realism of a pseudo southern California, that other things within the game didn't become as "fleshed out" such as story and characters.  I wander around within the game and the attention to detail is pretty crazy in terms of architecture/buildings, pedestrians, weather, sounds, etc etc.

As far as the main story goes though, I thought it was decent and something a little different and fresh.  I will agree with most and say it was a bit short though.  Maybe cause I'm a sucker for GTA:SA, but also maybe because of the mission skip/jump/retry from a checkpoint that also sped things along much quicker.  Even if that feature were excluded though, it would still feel a bit short.  With so many landmarks and locales in the map that were untouched in terms of the main story, it just made much of it feel a bit redundant to me.  Most of those un-used landmarks/locales I would eventually notice find some purpose in the Online world, but still... I loved how every region in SA (city, countryside, desert) not only involved the main story but also a string of side missions and things to do that in the end gave purpose to nearly everything that was found on the map.  I also felt like there was a lot left unsaid for each character and that each string of missions could've been a lot longer.  I saw lots of potential for extra story line for each character, but alas none of it ever came to fruition as I  progressed through the game.

IMO, it seems like R* spent a lot of time with the look and detail of the game, which isn't a bad thing, but the story suffered as a result of that.  The story is still good, but I seem to notice a lot of un-used potential that I hope will get realized in some cool DLC.  Overall, I still find myself extremely pleased with the game.

I agree with AwClark. I felt the same way about the story and map. The character storylines weren't fleshed out enough. Seemed a lot of things were left hanging. The map was big and beautiful but it some parts felt extremely ignored. There was a lot of potential. It is unfortunate that in this age of video games, we have to rely on DLC to make up for crap content

I think next bad things in V are airplanes and helicopters physics. Turbulences destroy all fun from flying. It was better in IV, just like motorcycles physic.

Yeah the flying was kinda weird in GTAV. It was so simple and effective in the III era. The cars were easier to drive in GTAV but somehow the planes got a lot more harder

Does anyone feels like radio stations are a step back from IV ? Not talking about the playlist but about how crafted they were in IV.
They feel empty, a bit lifeless, the hosts barely have a few speeches, i didn't even notice the Radio Los Santos Host.

I'm dissapointed in this game on many levels because ( please listen Rockstar if you are reading this):

- weak antagonists (Steve Haines and Devin Weston look like annoyed children in comparison to real  antagonists like Dimitri and Tenpenny who were really threatening not just annoying bitches

- weak storytelling (from the point on Trevor arrives in Los Santos it just goes downhill)

-->  almost no presence of real criminal organisations (Madrazo just does not count because Rockstar made him appear so weak after that sh*t Trevor did to him the latter would be dead almost instantly )

--> where are the other Gangs it cant be that just the FIB and the Families & Ballas  do criminal sh*t in Los Santos

in GTA IV there were tons of various gangs in the different areas of the City, GTA V is just lacking in this regard

- we have to do too much sh*t for the FIB ( GTA was always about doing real criminal things not fighting Terrorists or getting caught in a boring Agency War) Even three of the six heists are done for them

- not enough heists ( just 6 really Rockstar? You claimed the theme of the game was the pursuit of the almighty dollar but in the game its just 1 real heist that you do for yourself and get enough money from it the others are just paying of debts or working for the FIB)

- no real criminal stuff to do we have yoga golf and tennis but where is gang wars, selling drugs, vigilante missions ..... its almost like GTA is slowly turning into Sims

-  weak ending what was the purpose of multiple protagonists if you just say f*ck it we just let one decide the fate of the others

--> and its almost like Rockstar wants us to choose ending C because thats the only ending where you put real effort in so its not hard decision like in GTA IV's ending

- huge stepback from GTA IV's mature storytelling  Its ok if not every GTA is so dramatic but still its too much comedy and cop outs (like the Trevor & Michael conflict)

This is my favorite game currently, and will probably be my favorite GTA until VI comes out (maybe not even then). But I do have a few disappointments that hopefully they begin to work on.

-Personally, I didn't think the antagonists were really badass or fit to be antagonists. Sure, they were annoying but they sort of felt like huge pussies.

-There isn't many interiors. I always enjoyed exploring interiors with friends Online, we had the underground tunnel but that was it. In IV, we'd always go into interiors just to screw around and kill each other, and see what we could find.

-Los Santos Customs was disappointing. I enjoy customizing cars, but I read in a preview that it would be on par with MC:LA. I was disappointed to find out that there are only 60+ parts...

-This is really based off of my expectations, but I thought there would be more heists to do for yourself instead of some criminal trying to benefit themselves and that's it. They were still fun, though.

I love the game but my big issues are lack of vehicle storage and the fact that some parts seem like blatant pandering to IV haters.

Thats how i felt, All GTA's have the mob element, its what built the game, The mob element  brings that dark gritty feel. they complete took that out of this game aside madrazo, the 2 rocco mission and the gold coast assinasstion which is just killing a mob boss no story about it. Its completely  a different story which was cool and different the first play thru. but im on my 2nd play thru. and i almost have no desire to finish. i dont care about the sh*tty fib IAA sh*t. This game feels like SIMS with guns.

The more I play this game, the more I dislike it -- albeit slowly. Here is a timeline of my feelings:

First got it: This is so awesome, so much to do and see
Week: Love it but man I don't have enough time to explore everything
Half a month: Great but some stuff just annoys me
Finish storyline and a few interesting random events: Okay, now I'm pressure free but, what to do?
Weeks after finishing: Its okay but these physics are boring me and so mang features are just lacking/suck
Now: Only play Online with friends, look at cars, or look at some of the scenery

I'm getting bored. Not because of the expectations I had. I'm bored of these casual player friendly physics, the dumb ass fans, the missed opportunities, that feeling of restriction, and these dumbass patches that don't fix anything and create more problems like lightning not spawning. The cars are getting boring because most of them are exotics that spawn everywhere. I'm sick of the way the cars drive, their mediocre customization options, and the lack of that special feeling when you own a car and can drive it anywhere.

I find myself sighing a lot when I play V. A disappointment from one of my most anticipated games makes me feel depressed gaming wise and it makes me feel like Rockstar aren't a great company.

I can still bring myself to enjoy the game, even if it isn't as good as I expected it to be. Rockstar can develop great games, but they've made some questionable decisions in GTA V that I'm hoping they fix. Still, it's a bad feeling when a game you waited so long for does not live up to expectations.

Everyone deserves a f*ck up... R* f*cked up....I think they more than earned the right to have one.   But I hate that I lost trust in them and I hope they make me look like a fool with GTA 6 for doubting them.

...I'm riding with Bethesda since Skyrim lived up to everything I expected it to be and more.
