Maybe a wish for GTA VI but the ability to play our own music, either from the hdd or a plug in (phone, ipod, etc) would be amazing. Orrrrr maybe integrate Pandora into the game?

That would be great, or they could at least update the radio stations every month or so with new music and stuff.. Sometimes hearing the same music again and again gets a bit boring

we kinda knew that from the beginning but seriously though...the MUSIC in GTA V is so repetitive and also its not as good as IV...I wish we had that feature where we would press the PS button and we play the songs from our playstation playlist..

Maybe it's repetitive it you listen to the same two stations or something. I'm always switching around.

Also if you have an Xbox you can play music through the system while playing the game, it just won't be confined to the radio which is what we really want here.

They havnt had that kind of feature since III on the original Xbox. It seems they're leaving it out purpose, probably because they spent millions on music licenses so I figure they want players to listen to their songs.

The more I listen to different stations, the more I am starting to appreciate this soundtrack. That being said, we SHOULD have a custom channel on the radio where we could play MP3 music directly off the console hard drives.

But yet that didn't stop them from giving a custom radio station to the Xbox versions of III, Vice City and San Andreas and the PC version of GTA IV. If they're going to have that attitude why put it in the game in the first place or why the PS3 players are the only ones to be cheated out of this feature but the PC is most likely still going to have it.

I very much agree. I like this soundtrack but since you can connect to Facebook through this game why not allow people to connect to Rhapsody or Spotify?

I'd been holding out something of a false hope for this feature to be implemented since the game was announced some two, three years ago. Though it wasn't included (and it will most certainly be an addition in the most likely forthcoming PC edition) this go-round, there's always a hope that it can be included in a future update; at the very least, perhaps new additions to the radio stations from time to time via DLC of some sort.

Then they got sued over a PSP version and thats why its not in 5

It wont be on computer. edit: until people mod it in.

Second edit: back around the time when they put that tennis game out, word was they were almost bankrupt. R* hasn't always had pools of money.. they had a rough spot or spots there too... like that tennis game was supposedly just to make money for a different title they couldnt afford.. I forget which, some GTA I think.  SA or something.

Maybe we can just give people an option to hook up on I pod or some other player through one of the USB ports.

I just wish it was an actual station so that it would only play in cars... be interesting to see if some genius could come up with a method where pressing triangle in game would pause the music or play the music in the background :D That would pretty much turn it on/off every time youre in a car.

Definitely, they should add a custom soundtrack option. I'd buy it, I'd like it!

I'd love it.

The music in V is okay overall but I custom soundtrack would be like... oh my god it would be so awesome. I would never have to worry about, "What is this sh*t coming up, I need to change the station, oh my god nothing good is playing"

Listening to my tracks while driving would keep me playing for a while lol.

I hope they implement that in the next GTA for the next gen consoles... At least GTA V's soundtrack and radios are better then GTA IV's. GTA IV's radios are REALLY BAD.

People didn't mod a custom soundtrack into the PC GTA games. In IV Rockstar give the player a radio station called Independence FM which played their music and it had it's own commercials and DJ. Can I have a source for that lawsuit please? I don't see how a PSP can cause them not to add that feature when several PS3 games had it (RDR included.) as well as GTA IV on the PC.

It's pretty simple, just play the music on speakers while you play GTA V, and there's your custom station :^:

Why should we have to do a work around when past GTA games had the feature we want. It's almost like getting a 2014 Camaro that has no radio (while all the other Camaros from previous years have one) and you have to use a boombox as a work around.

The first lawsuit was the hot coffee one I guess, where the devs left sexual code in the game for modders to unlock

http://www.tomshardw...offee,8584.html

20 million they settled over, according to that... so theres your tennis game period I was talking about.

Apparently daz dillinger was a huge cocksucker about cwalk and some other song in gt5 that probably never made it, was trying to have R* recall all games and destroy them since he wouldnt let them use the music... unrelated however.

Admittedly, I can't find anything about a psp lawsuit however it could have never went to court and never made the news for some reason.. or it could have been bs, was from someone else on this forum I originally heard it from, while bitching about how it should be in the game.

They dont just do this kinda thing for no reason. It's not like they decided to not put the radio in game just to screw with customers or because of a latency issue.

Not sure how PS3 music player works, but on Xbox It would be cool if someone made a dedicated GTA Youtube channel, and separated all the old GTA songs, Commercials, Comedy bits etc... Then you could chose just your fav's, put each bit on a separate album, and then simply hit 'random shuffle', ...add in your own fav stuff besides, and have your own massive GTA radio.

To be fair they can't just allow anything on there because of copyright issues but I think plugging a device into the usb and allowing you to hear it alongside the regular sounds of the game would be a good solution.

Ya Pandora, Spotify...actually if you try to play a song, that you LIKED from the game, through the Social club, it takes you to spotify, gotta register. I dont know. I can jump around a bit on the radio, but if you play a decent amount, its all old now.

Other video games have this feature, and it's a wonder why Rockstar doesn't just apply it like they already do with PC versions.

I actually find it curious that The Social Club is linked to Spotify now that I am thinking about it. Like a song in the game and the try to play if from the Social Club. You will see what I mean, if you haven't already that is...

I would prefer a radio station where we can favourite songs from radio stations in the game. So that all of our favourite songs on radio are together instead of waiting for them to play.
