I really, really want a never wanted cheat. Sometimes I want to cause havoc but I really can't because if I just punch/slap one pedestrian, I'll be chased around for a few minutes which gets annoying at times. And I honestly don't understand what the point is in having to lower wanted level 1 by 1. When a person wants to get rid of their wanted level, what made Rockstar think they just want 1 less star? I also don't get the point in having a time limit to invincibility. You're not going to save when you have the cheat activated and you can't save for that matter, so why not make it unlimited?

Also, does anybody else miss the cheat system in GTA IV where the cheats are saved into your phone? The SA/VC type cheat-entering system is annoying since you have to enter it every time.

You have no idea how hard is to code a Never Wanted cheat code.

So what about all the extra cheats with the trainer in GTA 4? The developers used the trainer to test the game, and all the gamers did was unlock the trainer and release it as a mod. Why can't they do this with V? Why can't they at least try?
Simply compare GTA IV's cops actions, reactions, cop system, getting wanted system and compare it with GTA V's, and that apart from the skins, cars, scripted tactics, etc.

I know, but I'm saying surely they would already have a trainer for GTA V when they bug-tested the game.

O RLY? Well I thought that since Rockstar make millions and have been making lots of quality games, not to mention they had a team with 5 years to produce GTA V, that coding for a f*cking cheat wouldn't be so hard. Guess it is, hah? :sarcasm:

Why would anyone want to just REDUCE their Wanted level? So you can make it from 3 stars to 2 stars, who wants that? It's bullsh*t, I want to completely remove my Wanted level.

Lowering your wanted level is probably the most famous game cheat of all time. You're on your own.

No, no one really likes it. It's stupid and could easily be replaced with the Never Wanted cheat. The only reason people use it is because they want to remove their Wanted level completely, by rapidly typing in the cheat code about 4 times to lose it completely. NO ONE uses this cheat just to lower their Wanted level by 1, you asshole.

The diference between each star is inmense, so i find that cheat pretty usefull.
1 star: They follow you but won't shoot.
2 stars: They follow you and shoot you.
3 stars: Chopper.
4 stars: Vans make roadblocks and often blow your wheels, if you leave your vehicle near one of these, you are f*cked before even avaible to aim them.
5 stars: Basically the same but harder and a lot of choppers and cars

Yea, I'm not doubting that (but with 1 star cops and security guards sometimes still shoot you). I'm just saying a lot of people who use this cheat most likely use it to completely remove their Wanted level. IMO cheats aren't supposed to have restrictions and be like a chore, but this one has restrictions. Give me ONE reason why Rockstar didn't have a Never Wanted cheat. ONE.  Even after using the cheat multiple times so you finally don't have a Wanted star anymore, you're still not gonna be 'Never Wanted' and will get a Wanted level if you do something bad. It's annoying. Sometimes I just want to cause havoc and kill everything in my sight without police following me every single time. :(

You should try the construction assasination glitch, it's pretty funny, look for the link in an earlier post to find the instructions.

I expected better and more cheats. I wanted flying cars, cars drive on water, no wanted, and many other cool cheats from older GTA games. What'd we get? a 5 minute limit invincibility. Who came up with that?? Whoever it is, they don't want us having any fun. They're probably the sane twat who made all cops SUPER COPS. Just walk away from V and don't look back. Don't even bother going online. That's the only way R* will hear us.

And what is this sh*t where we cant get a heli to spawn in most areas?? Same with vehicles. Now, anytime I want a heli I have to go all the way to Blaine. and all the available flying vehicles aren't even there--we have to access them through a damn "push right on the D-pad to choose what you want". such idiotic horsesh*t

You know what you remind me of? Some little kid who screams "I want this, I want that!" when he/she doesn't get his own way. Go play older GTAs, problem solved.

You're just being lazy as f*ck.. You can call Lester or you can use the 'lower wanted level' cheat to clear it.

Once you have taken a couple of minutes to memorize the button combo it takes less then 3 seconds.

Being completely invincible or immune to the law would cheapen the game and would quickly become boring through lack of a challenge.

Cheats are supposed to be for FUN, when you just want to mess around in free roam, not in missions. No it won't be boring, I won't memorize the button combo because I have a bad memory.

Exactly!

Think objectively, boy. I've been playing GTA games since the begining and know the standard that R* set themselves and they're not meeting that standard, since IV, and I will let them know that. Things won't get better, or R* won't know what works and what doesn't for the next game, if all their fans are little 'yes' kids.

Why is call of duty literally an insult on this forum? Not for nothing, but the next game is going to have astronauts with machineguns. Then there's the thing where some people just want to feel like a top secret military agent with a license to kill that has very loose guidelines.

For the record, I do want a never wanted cheat. I can't even crash a plane while invincible without getting three stars. Shouldn't they just send paramedics and a fire crew with a police escort and no wanted level? Do plane crash survivors just get shot on sight in los angeles or something?

Because R* considers having fun immoral.

I think what we have here, is a total paradigm shift by Rockstar.  I think Rockstar got religion, and the new message of GTAV is "Crime doesn't pay."

I think a lot of the problems with IV and V can all be put in the same category. The Freedom of GTA is turning into, what I call, '' Personal Profil Freedom ''. You are given x number of activities to play with if they fit the character's persona. Franklin can't have Gang Wars mission because he doesn't want to do so. Which is complete bullsh*t.

Yeah, just because I'm not a whiny little bitch, I guess that makes me a Rockstar ball gargler.

Get real you idiot. I'm not even saying GTA V is perfect nor lacks issues. It does need some work and I can understand the annoyance of missing things like drivable trains, interiors, vehicle missions e.g. To be fair though, Rockstar did try their best to give you alot of content like customisation, a large map, more vehicles like tanks, planes and quads, multiple protagonists e.g. I do think it's missing some stuff, but it has has alot more to do than IV did. Besides, I'd rather just enjoy the game for what it is rather than bitch about it's flaws all the time. Yeah, you're entitled to your opinion, I'll give you that. Obviously the game wasn't going to please everyone, but they did make somewhat of an attempt.

And I don't even play COD, thanks for that.

Why is there no Never Wanted
cheat?

Frame rates will take a severe hit on consoles.
All the time you will avoid ( fear ) taking any action that allows frame drops in game.
Cops are for that reason very tough this time. They are more psychotic than Trevor.

And I don't even play COD, thanks for that.

The R* fanboyism drips from your chin. Wipe it off. I wish I didn't care as much as I do about GTA so that I could live in that bubble world you live in where everything is just hunky-doory. But I can't. I'm a realist and see things for what they really are. As far as the first play-through of V, I was in awe of it's beauty, but it wore thin, quick as I discovered the limitations and things missing. It looks as if it were thrown together quickly--no passion in any features, nothing new to really take us there like R* has in the past. There isn't even anything really memorable from the game--no water cooler moments. How sad is that? GTA V is mediocre, at best. Maybe one day you will snap out of it and see what everyone else is talking about. Until then, (big middle finger)

Like I said, it's your opinion. Just because you dislike the game, doesn't mean everyone else should. And I laugh at you calling me a R* fanboy, it's seriously repetitive. Obviously I would be a R* fan of some sort if I'm hanging out on GTAForums, though I play plenty of other games besides GTA and other R* titles, but you obviously wouldn't know that. Grow a brain, just because someone disagrees with you and speaks out against your whiny and snobby attitude, that doesn't make them a fanboy.
