New Title Update to Address GTA Online Farming

actual_1381275610.jpg

Update: This automatic title update is now available for PlayStation 3, and we expect it to be available by tomorrow at the latest for Xbox 360.

A new title update to address the reported issues of farming in GTA Online as well as other irrelevant tweaks. Fixes in this title update include:

  • Added limit to amount of missions that can be played in a single day
  • Fixed multiple issues where players were actually earning decent amounts of cash from difficult jobs
  • Increased cost of hospital bills to $10,000
  • Increased passive mode fee to $25,000
  • Added new traffic violation system - for each violation, the player is given the choice to either pay the $30,000 fine, or watch a cash card advertisement at the police station
  • Replaced all in-game billboards with cash card advertisements
  • Fixed an issue where players were able to move in survival mode
  • Fixed an issue where the player could have fun in GTA Online
As promised, we've taken steps to quarantine confirmed farmers in GTA Online. Starting today, anyone we've found replaying jobs, robbing stores, or making money without buying cash cards has officially been cordoned off in a dedicated cheater pool, confined to wallow with other unscrupulous reprobates. Please stay tuned for updates as we continue to investigate mission rewards. In the meantime, please remember to purchase cash cards for GTA Online, otherwise you may lose many hours doing missions for unfair rewards. Cash cards can be purchased by entering the Playstation Store/Xbox Live Marketplace through the pause menu.
