You just prove my point. You idiots are no different than 15 years old kid arguing about how others should live their lifes on a GTA forum, what a joke. If there was an annoying kid online thats unbearable then why don't you just use the mute feature? Its there for a reason, instead of acting like a bunch of self entitled assholes why not just mute and move on? Life lessons on GTA forum....just wow

Have you actually read the thread?

It's clearly not just about GTA.

Well, what do you want? Ban kids from playing games? Its not going to happen, and how sad is it for a bunch of so called "grown ups" arguing about this and that generation on a GTA forum?

Can't imagine being a kid in today's world.

When I was 14 I loved my Acorn Electron (google it, kids!)..............

Cute, want a cookie for that?

Yes please.

Want a dose of reality mixed with maturity?

Nah, I got enough, keep it for yourself. You´ll need it.

Bragging about your Acorn Electron you had at the age of 14. Acting all mature and sh*t, while you´re probably some "kid" yourself hidding behind a screen to feel superior. And I don´t see how you can´t imagine being a, lets say "teenager" these days, since this generation and future generations will have acces to a way better education than you could possible have back then.

It's the fault of everyone in the world. Humans happen to be a very social species. As for my children, that's none of your business

I don't think anyone asked.

I apologize kianokk, Tantrix was simply jealous of how much more successful my children are than his (future) children.

So it's not their fault?  They don't have to take any responsibility for the way they act?  I hope you don't have children...

Lack of self worth and no purpose.  Its the world they were born into.  Not entirely their fault.

I really dont understand the "Youff" of today. They want to play a game and finish it in as fast a time as possible. They cry about not being able to use "glitches" and "cheats",when they do,they then moan about getting banned for doing it.They want as much money and cars etc as they can as fast as they can. They complain about getting shot and having their cars stolen when thats what the game is all about. They make posts on forums in some kind of Language that i have never even seen or heard of.

i am 53 years old,i have seen the birth of the "Modern Technological Age" and its advancements for good and bad.I honestly dont think the "Youff" of today could even FUNCTION like i had to back in my Youth.

When i was a kid,we had NO colour TV,DVD's,CD's,iPads,PC's, or Mobile phones.Indeed not every house had a phone, you used to go next door and use theirs or use a Public Phone. The radio was one that ran using Valves and took about 20 seconds to warm up and come on.TV had 2 Channels and there was NO Daytime TV at all,it went off at midnight. The only games were Board Games(if you could afford them).

Kids today dont know they are bloody Born!

(Old Phart rant over)

Honestly OP i am "technically youff " of today but i hate it, everyone is always on their phones and doing stuff with friends always involves half the time we even do anything or communicate just sit there and mess around with whatever new toy one of us got. Im 18 though so thank christ im not like those kid's online but if i behaved at all like some of these kids or became a swag fag i would of  gotten beat
18 as well. Well said man.

Don't even try, you'll just get flamed. People just want to complain and blame other people for things out of their control. It's the way the world always will be..... As long as humans are in power at least

Oh get off your high horses, you guys are embarrassing. Stop acting like there isn't morons and rude f*cks around the age of 30 and up. I'm only 21 but geez you all sound like a bunch of high school kids, its like seniors picking on freshmens all over again.

Yeah, as if the 15 year old freshmen walking around with their iPhone 5's and wearing Abercrombie aren't picking on anyone...  /rollseyes

Right...so muting them just makes the problem non-existent.  Nice way to spin it.

Then play with your friends or do you not have any? This is an age where kids play mature games, is not anything new. Or maybe play solo, yea? Should rockstar make you your very own server to play in with unicorns and barbies?

I don't have any problems in game, my crew is mostly 30+ in age.  Hmm..maybe there's a connection there...

I agree with you, but I am a member of their generation. I especially agree with the point about rushing through games. I remember when the fun of video games was playing them, and getting the most you could out of them, not beating them. What's fun about beating games anyway? You get a cutscene and an acheivment/trophy, whoop-di-doo.

You might want to look up the definition of "bragging"

O´really, tell me something i didnt just write down.

Yet, I don´t see the problem of being a teenager these days. Kid´s are spoiled true, but thats life.. They´ll grow up and realise they can´t keep being this kid anymore and thats it.

I know the definition of bragging, but you clearly didnt get the point i was referring too.

In the majority this has so far been proven to be not the case.

In any case, what knowledge do you have of my education?

God forbid they grew up in the days where if you wanted to play a video game, you rode your bike downtown and put quarters into a machine for each game you played. - give us free games or else!

Well, (This is a guess) The Acorn Electron launched in 1983, you were 14 when you got yours so maybe a few years after the launch. So you didnt have any acces to the internet, and you´d have to count on all your books. so worse than most of todays current students. Im studying in a Business college with plenty of options to choose from, so it might also be worse than mine. But again, that was just a guess. Your education could of course even be way better than mine, but I wouldnt know as I have no knowledge of yours.

Anyway, i´m not here to have a war between you and me, this is just my opinion.

The closest we got to seeing the internet was wathching the film War Games.

Still think im a kid?

Well done on your research on the Acorn Electron none the less, i feel that you have been educated on something.

There is a reason there was a greatest generation, because they where the last of the real American's where hard work meant something. Today to find a person with any sense of honor about them is very rare, for instance how many of the younger generation would have the courage to say what they say online to someone else in person? Would you guys go up to an older man in person who was telling you about his youth and his struggles and tell him haha your old, grandpa! The truth is we have the technology we have today due to someone's hard work, due to many sacrifices, and I am afraid those type of people are dying out. How many of the guys on this forum cut grass to get by as kids? I don't mean to survive but if you wanted something your parents told you "go mow some lawns until you can afford it" I did, and I am a better person for it. I am by no means old 26, but I felt the need to contribute to society and learn about what created the society we have and have had. So I read books, I study history, I talk like a white man, I am involved in politics, I am a mechanic who works with his hands and his mind, I mowed lawns to afford my power ranger and ninja turtle toys as a kid. I served this failing country with 2 tours in Iraq. I don't mean to be a braggart but what I mean to convey is the reason behind our future falling apart. Most people my age and below have no work ethic, no grasp on the realities of life, what it takes to build and maintain a successful economy and home life. In short, we are doomed if we don't either take a long hard look back on our past, or a natural disaster forces upon us a survival of the fittest situation in which the intelligent, honor filled, and laborious men will be all that is left.

Just tell them "If I was your father, i'd beat you"

Then I would tell him "If I was your son, i'd kill you"

Remember that both the father and SON can play the game of violence.

A bit much over a computer game, but this is GTA i guess.

Might jack my dads car on his way to work in the morning just to see his reaction though.........always wondered.......quick slap thrown in just to be cheeky.....

The same "real" Americans that slaughtered the native Americans and stole their land? The same "real" Americans that raped women and killed children? The same "real" Americans that used British technology to wipe millions of Native Americans out and play cruel games on them?

American/Brit: Here are some lovely warm blankets for you and your family

Native American: We accept this gift and we welcome you to OUR home

.....Meanwhile, the lightly colored blankets were actually full of the puss from victims who were infected with small pox's. The women, men and children died slowly and painfully

The end.

You would just let your father "beat" you?? That would be against the law and you would be within your legal right to use deadly force if you felt your life was in danger.

Good day, sir.

Meh, pointless ideology really. I'm sure the generations that came before yours would say the same thing about you.

This should have been the end of the thread.
