Does anyone else think it would be a kool idea to see a Zombie mode DLC for GTAV? Imagine roaming around the city of Los Santos - its foggy all around - and as you walk on the streets, you are attacked by zombies as they noticed you! I think Rockstar can really pull it off. Imagine that! Running down zombies with a car and your crew/friends are drive-by shooting through the windows. It be more awesome if Rockstar made a story/missions that correlate with the zombies. There's a lot of pontential on GTAV and seeing a DLC for zombies would be awesome! What are your thoughts? Do you think it would be a cool idea to see zombies in GTAV?

I really hope not. RDR's Undead Nightmare was done so well that I would much rather Rockstar have to come up with a brand new, exciting DLC idea than bite off its earlier achievements.

Bad enough the same cities keep being "reimagined" if you think about it.

I thought this horrible idea had died, but just like a zombie, it won't.

Am I the only one that found Undead Nightmare a bit... sh*t? It was fun for a while, but I never went back to it. Not even sure I completed it, actually. That and the fact that it broke the main game's continuity in a really awkward way (and before anyone says anything, I understand that it's 'outside' of RDR canon.)

I'd prefer it in GTA to be honest. More scope for terror - more people, bigger locations, narrow streets and alleys - it'd work.

Someone's join date does not affect an idea.

As for your question. It would be fun playing with friends and working together, but this is GTA. All respect for the game would be lost.

The game we have should be fixed before they start adding new games to it...

I think this would be the perfect game for a zombie DLC.  There is city where big hordes could wander and country where we could build a base.  Perhaps make a mechanic where we can upgrade a house and make a zombie compound.  I think it could be great.

This dude will tell you a little bit about what Rockstar thinks about zombies. His conversations with the protags are hilarious.

His join date clearly tells me he's not aware of the zombie rubbish many of us are now tired of hearing on this site.

They NEED to make it?

No, you just WANT it. There's a difference.

But my opinion is that they shouldn't. The game barely loads 5 people near a road let alone a few tens of zombies. Zombies are overrated and just wouldn't fit the atmosphere that had been created for the game.

(And yes before the game was released, I supported the idea of zombies but now I have changed my mind).

Yes, I know they made undead nightmare but that's because it technically fit into the games atmosphere. I'll explain, the game takes place in the early 1900's or whatever and medicine was not as developed as it is today. So people dying from common diseases was common. The zombies that occurred in the game is an example of a plague, which was highly possible and probable in those times, everybody was freaking out and nobody knew wtf it was.

Yet I know people who've been around since 2006 and still think Zombie DLC's are a great idea. You can't judge someone who has an idea, perhaps one which won't come true, by their join date.

I'll say it again, f**k zombies in GTA.

Anyway, the game came out and there is no sign of any bullsh*t zombie so zombie lovers can shut the f**k up now.

No, they don't. They already put alliens camo roaming arround for no reason or forcing them shamelessly while under the effect of some drug... If they were going to release a DLC it's gotta be about something with actual content such as burglars, drug deals, mugging. The mitologic vibe has already been used both in the game and all the latest games like RDR or COD, zombies already a huge cliche.

Zombies in the Wild West was a novel concept when UN released. Zombies in a modern day city setting, done 2 death.

Wow, I didn't think this idea would get so many negative comments, but its cool; I did ask for opinions after all lol. Anyway yeah zombies has been overused in many games but if Rockstar were ever to use zombies, I think they would do it right in GTAV. Well thanks guys for all the replies and comments, I'm glad to see that these forums are alive and well; unlike most forums I've joined. I honestly didn't expect this much replies. :)
