There's a failry complicated way to change image files into a type of file the editor can use or something.

If you look on the forums, it's around here somewhere.

I just made mine the old fashioned way and I think it looks rad.

Original one before I learned the emblem hack thing:

After, just because I wanted to run around with Saints gear on gamedays:

I'll put together a new one for the crew in Illustrator. I don't mind the R* editor. It could be fleshed out a tiny bit more but it isn't bad. Text would be nice.

I also don't mind the glitch as long as people are using it for good more than evil, so to speak, and I really don't see a way for them to stop it easily anyway. I doubt they'd put the time/effort into rewriting the whole thing just because people are cutting/pasting vector art in.

Pretty much, yeah. It's fairly complicated.

A brief explanation:

The Rockstar editor is basically a simplified vector art creator. Vector images are scaleable images basically made out of points on a graph and a standard set of variables.

Someone dug through the code on the creator page and found where those points/variables are logged.

From there they figured out a way to copy and paste the points from vector images directly into the editor's code.

So people are basically using an online image vectoriser to create the necessary file type and copy that file's code.
