I love my clean Rebel. Although it's a bit slower than my Injection it's a lot cooler and I think it's the best off-road vehicle in the game. The clean one does perform better than the rusty one.

Bodhi is the best off-road vehicle in the game, behind the Injection.

Sandking is a monster, 100% armour, BP tires, fully loaded it is an unstoppable killing machine.

Sticky bomb.

Sorry, I had to, lol.  It's too big.  It's good for sh*ts and giggles but its size isn't a plus.

I keep a Sandking SWB, Clean Rebel, and Baja's Modded Rusty Rebel. The clean is by far best off road followed closely by rusty rebel. Sandking is not great on slopes. However it's fun for running over traffic!! LoL

They all have redeeming qualities.

Gah, All the clean rebels I find have no bullbars!!!! That's what I want in my rebel!

I have a Toyota truck in real life so for me personally...definitely the rebel. Objectively in terms of the performance in the game maybe I'd consider the sand king if it was 4wd but since it isn't...still the rebel.

Neither! Sandking SWB (2 seater)  great at jumps, awesome ramming into other vehicles, or just monster trucking over them. The Rebel is a great lil rally truck. But for overall truck, got to be the Sandking SWB.

I only just sold my sandking the other day nd replaced it with a fully modified dubsta which works great.

Bit disappointing that the sandking is only RWD but oh well.

I thought the sandking would be better at creek crossing and going through water but it turns out that if it's deep enough to wreck my dubsta then the sandking won't make it either.

For driving over people? Definitely Sandking. Everything else - Rebel.

Rebel.

Small. Good speed. Cheap insurance fee. Good offroad performance.

What else can you ask for?

Sandking? Well. It hits the ceiling everytime it gets out from the garage..

I see your amateur offroaders and raise you the Canis Bodhi.

Faster, seats four, tough as it gets (goes through lampposts and the like without even stuttering) and more badass customisable.

Oh, and flick those lights on to make it daylight in front of you and give other drivers a tan... ;)

Yep, I lost mine.  Don't understand it either.  "Was never intended to be a part of the multiplayer"  WHY?  What's the big f*cking deal it's just a pickup truck.  Every update drives more people away from this game.

You forgot it can also tow trailers, nothing else in Off road class can tow.

What does AWD do for it, outside of grip on off-road?

http://en.wikipedia....All_wheel_drive

All wheel drive refers to a drive train system that includes a differential between the front and rear drive shafts. This is normally coupled with some sort of anti-slip technology that will allow differentials to spin at different speeds, but still maintain the ability to transfer torque from one wheel in case of loss of traction at that wheel.

It's really noticeable when you're driving a Merryweather Mesa up Mt. Chilliad.

Is the Mesa really that great as an OVERALL truck? Could I use it as a getaway truck, for example?

Fully upgraded it's pretty fast. Faster than the Sandking, Rebel and BF Injection. The only problem is that the windows are huge so it might be easy to get shot while escaping.

Odd. I'm pretty sure that my Rebel is much faster than my Mesa...both fully upgraded. The Mesa kind of sucks. It rolls over way too easy for an "off-roader" and handles like sh*t in the dirt. It's a glorified on road truck in my opinion.

I don't like the Sandking because the nitro fueled cops ram it from behind and get up underneath the back tires and spin you out too easy.

You can store both of them. Shut the f*ck up about your stupid clean Rebels. It's just a f*cking single truck. It will come out later in the online store for purchase. f*cking babies. f*ck. I lost one...big f*cking deal. NOBODY CARES.

I just bought my Rebel last night to replace my Rat-Loader that got stolen from me, so I'm curious about one thing in particular - What's the general consensus as far as whats more protective of the driver and passenger of the Karin Rebel between the Baja Space Frame and Sandrail Conversion? The tire from the Sandrail looks to provide good protection from directly behind, but if a hostile starts pulling up on your sides and starts firing it looks like that's where the risk starts. On the other hand the Baja Space Frame looks to be 100% protected from the arc that the Sandrail appears to leave vulnerable, but there's that small window of opportunity from behind - but the angle the back frame is set at doesn't seem to open a lot of opportunities outside of the lowest suspensions out there. It looks to me the Baja Space Frame has the edge in protection in most situations.
