“At least with Grand Theft Auto I don’t think it’ll be console exclusive very long. But that’s what happens when you have a brand new launch with two companies that have lots of money trying to make sure they have content.”

"GTA 5, which is currently available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, is rumored to be released to PCs in the first quarter of 2014."

No official word from Rockstar yet.

Right above that:

Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed anything about the release of the PC version of "GTA 5," but the rumors come shortly after Chris Silva, director of marketing for Intel's premium notebooks,  told PC Gamer that "GTA 5" may be released for the PCs sooner rather than later.

If it's not a quote directory from Rockstar, anything relating to a PC version is a mere rumor and should only be taken lightly. Rockstar. Not the director of marketing for Intel's premium notebooks. Thanks for editing that.

I started #1, and #2 (link, and more info). #3 will just come with a having a decent PC. #4 could be done, and better, with a trainer which will most likely happen pretty quickly. #5, #6 and #7 require scripting, which no ones opened xcs/csc yet and would require new models to be made and added to the map, and AFAIK no ones started figuring out xbn/cbn(?) files.

Agreed modding will infact require scripting and trainers were also common in GTA SA.

People seem to forget one of the most important (and fun) modifications for the PC version and that's a Simple Native Trainer.

Much like GTA IV's SNT, it will allow us to control most of what happens in the game world including but not limited to;

- Vehicle spawner.

- God mode.

- Unlimited ammo.

- Character changer.

- Object spawner.

And much, MUCH more.

Somebody get Sjaak327 on the line immediately!

Ability to adjust and change driving physics, Plus I would like to see / hopefully going to make some extra mods for GTA cars in LSC. Like different sets of tires that have different values like drift, slick and rally tires.

You mean even more detailed driving physics? Because thats what I feel GTA V needs.

Yes exactly and it gives people to adjust the driving to their play style. I'm a big drift fan so that's why I would like the ability to have different tires in game that have different physics if that makes sense. similar to many drift mods on rfactor

Character-specific clothing, hairstyles and tattoos being made available to all characters.

Trevor with a goatee, Michael with a fro. Franklin with Trevor's mountain man beard. The possibilities are hilarious and endless.

Also, yes, of course the Simple Native Trainer. I almost refuse to play a GTA game in free-roam without some kind of trainer to use to stage elaborate events and make my own fun. Hopefully, GTA V ends up being somewhat mod friendly.

We'll have to wait and see. The wait better be worth it.
