I don't know if there's a topic about this I don't see one.

I just wanna ask you gtafans like me what do u think is/are missing things or features in GTAV that you think should be included? Ok, here's my list...

1. More interiors. TBH GTAIV has more interiors than GTAV..

2. More activities like in GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption like, pool, bowling, air hockey, Poker, black jack and so on..

3. The push or shove button also removed from this game. In GTAIV and RDR you can push or shove any NPC and it's really fun to do it on NPC..

4. There should be a automatic shifting gear animation when driving around Los Santos and it's surrounding area just to be more realistic and feels like you really driving a car.. I know some of you won't agree but that's ok this is just my own opinion..

5. Since the game this game was more about driving and car jacking I think there should a technique when you are jacking a parked car whether use some tools like slim jim or lockpick for not attracting attention much like in Mafia 2 and Sleeping Dogs.

6. The steering wheel should also move or rotate, in GTAIV I can see the steering wheel animation but I don't see steering wheel even moving or rotating. That's very unrealistic for game like this involving cars. I know this is not a racing game but I think it's cool if the steering wheels also move right?

7. Glock should also be included in this game. I'm a fan of Glock handgun. We see a plenty of screenshots and art work of franklin and Michael holding a glock. Why they had to removed it and change with ugly AP and combat pistol? Another let down on R* to me..

8. This is the feature I'm very excited about, the SCUBA Diving.. Why can't I use the flippers on free roam? I can only use it on a mission? It would be better if I can buy a scuba dving gear just like buying a parachute in an ammunation store. And automatically ware it when I'm on water. Why R* why? That's very disappointing R*..

9. The protags should be to use NPC as human shield... Saints row has this feature why can't R*?

10. There should be a negative and positive response on NPC..Much like in GTA San Andreas..

11. More environmental interaction like sitting on a bench and chair..Hiding in a trashcan when cops looking for you..

12. More weapons choice of colors..

13. Large Garage to store more vehicles just like in Mafia 2, Sleeping Dogs and even Saints Row series. This things was always missing on GTA games..

14. Be able to draw a gun on interiors and be able to punch or even shoot a friend just like in GTAIV..

That's all can think right now feel free to add what do you think features should be in GTAV...

Tasers and nightsticks are in the game but cops don't use them. Bunch of trigger happy George Zimmerman clones.

The main thing I miss from the last gta is when you got into a police car, you could do police missions by going onto the in car computer and looking up the recent crimes and most wanted. some of those missions where better than the game missions

Being able to leave the car running & the radio on, when you exit the car. The ability to pick up almost any handheld object & throw it, not just a ball for Chop to chase (which npc's don't even react to when you lob it at them). Oh & my 'Pie in the Sky' feature from RDR: Horseys.

1) Interiors. GTA IV had at least two hospitals, a burger shot and cluckin' bell. At the very least, Rockstar could have copied those interiors.

2) Buying Food off of Vendors. GTA IV you could buy food from street vendors. This was already done, so why remove it?

3) Grabbing Ledges. In GTA IV you were able to grab onto ledges and pull yourself along them. The climbing in that game was fun. It's gone now and replaced with ragdolling. :\

4) Vigilante Missions. They were in GTA IV and I was fully expecting a comeback (including Most Wanted).

5) Bowling and Pool. They were finished in GTA IV, so why completely remove them?

6) Friend Rewards. I can understand scaling the friend mechanic back. People didn't like it. (Personally, I'm more bugged by the stupid businesses constantly messaging me for help in V) They still should have given us an incentive to hang out with people like Lamar and uhh... Jimmy uhh... why is there so few cool characters to hang out with now that I think of it?

7) Multiple-Day Missions. In GTA IV we had two missions where we had to set up appointments and later on do the mission. The concept would have been nice to explore further rather than dumping it entirely.

8) Car Thefts. Okay, Brucie isn't in GTA V single player, but why couldn't we do repos for Simeon? Him being mad at Franklin never went anywhere so he should have just called later in the game and admit that he needs a 'repo' guy.

9) Multiple E-Mail Responses. I believe the in-game tutorial says "Choose a Response" or something like that, but there is only one response to any e-mail. Would have been nice to have a negative/positive one like in GTA IV.

10) Gambling. Rockstar admitted that animals were added due to work done on Red Dead Redemption. The Weapon Wheel is like Red Dead Redemption's wheel. Why couldn't they include the gambling? They already had the basics for it done like bowling and pool.

11) HorsesSpeaking of stuff they had done in other Rockstar games, why can't we ride horses? They had the feature done in Red Dead Redemption and brought other animals over, so why not horses? More variety is not going to hurt the game Rockstar.

12) Health System and Inventory. Rockstar brought over Red Dead's health system and then tried to merge it with GTA 4's health system and ended up making a bastard child that doesn't live up to either. An inventory was a vital part of Red Dead's health system as you could stockpile healing items for when times got tough. In GTA V it feels like death is the game's fault, but in RDR it always was my fault because I was unprepared or stupid.

13) Car Damage. I don't mean visual damage. Cars in GTA IV would sputter out and completely die on you after taking enough damage. We see a glimpse of this kind of system during one mission where a car breaks down and you drive it to a repair shop... why can't that just happen as you play? Instead we have cars that randomly explode for no reason rather than actually take any kind of damage.

14) Leaving Cars Running. In GTA IV if you got out of a car it was still running. You hold down a button and it turns off. Honestly, there is no reason to force us to turn off the car except to make it take longer to get going on the road again, which is just pointless.

15) Picking Up Objects. In GTA IV you could pick up random objects. This does not happen in GTA V at all. I wonder why.

16) Dating. Whether you enjoyed it or not they wrote it out of the game. Sure Trevor and Michael wouldn't date but Franklin probably would if they hadn't written in a mostly-off-screen love interest for him to have a one-sided relationship with.

17) Arcade Cabinets. We can see QUB3D in the LifeInvader office but can't play it. Again, this was finished. Why take it out? Could they not, in five years, develop a small mini-game like they did for GTA IV?

I loved gambling in RDR, but I think in this game it would have had serious consequences for the story. The pursuit of the almighty dollar as they put it is so integral to the story of the game. So what happens when you get players who use gambling to rack up money really quickly? You might think it's not a problem, but in a game like this you could get players just saving outside of the casino or whatever they use, gambling all of their money. If they win they save and then gamble again. If they lose they just reload and gamble again until they win. It provides exponential growth. You end up with Michael being a millionaire within the first few days of the game - what motivation is there for him to get back in the game and rob Vangelico when he already has the money? For the purposes of telling the story, the ability to gain money needs to be quite carefully controlled so that it all still makes sense. That's my own personal stance on it anyway. And that's why money is quite hard to come by in the middle of the game I think. I reckon it really adds to the sort of desperation to find and plan the next score. Sure you can have tiny little money making ventures on the side, but something like gambling could have completely broken the story they were trying to tell in my opinion.

As for horses, I'd have liked this, but I think they excluded them because it would make the Red Dead franchise look kinda sh*t. Why play the next RDR game when all you can do in that game is ride horses, when you could play GTA 5 which has horses, cars, planes, etc? I think that's the logic they used. Not necessarily logic I agree with, but you can understand it. Horses are RDR's signature move in a way. Rockstar probably wanted to make sure that the next RDR game didn't feel like a step back, which it probably would feel like if V had all of it's mechanics.

They can include the gambling and the story quite easily actually. You couldn't gamble at the start of GTA SA could you? Simply lock the Casino until enough of the story has been done. Most of the heists

Spoiler
so it wouldn't hurt. They all had other reasons for doing the big one, so again it wouldn't hurt.

For the horse thing, I can understand it, like you said, but I disagree with it 100%. Red Dead had so much more than just riding horses, it had a whole unique atmosphere to it that couldn't be replicated by just adding horses to GTA V. Things like the older weapons, the lasso, being able to hunt at a moment's notice, the dead eye (which IMO is a lot better than Trevor or Michael's specials), cattle rustling, the amazing map, and the wonderful story.

If Rockstar are holding out on anything in order to A) Make a different game better or B) To sell as DLC, then they've lost that spark that made them the game designers they once were. I must admit, while V is a great game there are some worrying things going on with it. :(

What the hell happened to the damn zippo lighter?? It was supposed to be in here. Why they take it out the game?! I don't want to shoot my weapon at a gasoline trail and everyone around me hears it and calls the police. I wanna just peacefully throw my lighter on the trail.

I don't understand why this was cut from the vanilla.

Bad thing: Even if you use a silenced pistol to light the trail, the people around will call the cops.

f*ck man I love this game but there is so much stuff that has been blatantly cut from the game. Doesn't make sense why some of these features would be cut, food stands, enterable burgershot etc...
