Hide your pies and hide your wives. Because Jim, and the guys are back again. Now this has only just been announced so there is not really any concrete info. But Universal decided to make a 5th one because American Reunion did so well. The only info we have is, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are returning as directors and screenwriters. So hang tight, because we will get that piece of pie eventually. ;)

I WILL UPDATE THIS AS WE GET MORE INFO

Really? I thought American Renuion was the perfect way to cap the series off.

Interested to see how it turns out. Not a huge fan of the spin offs, but love the originals .

American Pie 2 is still the best one IMO.

Soon they're going to have American Retirement.

I agree. I thought after the fourth it would be done and over with. I went in thinking this will be the last one. So I am iffy about this one. But if it's as good as the fourth, hell if it's as good as the original 3, I think i'll be happy. FYI the 2nd is my favorite too. :)

@darthYENIK

That would be f*cking hilarious and depressing. :D

Interesting, though technically it's number 7.
I like the originals and reunion was pretty funny.

How is it number 7? I thought American Reunion was the fourth.

What about the other American Pie movies that have other characters? Do they count? If so there must be me at least 7.

Beta House.

I forgot Book of love. It's pretty forgettable, all three are TBH.

9, keep em coming.

The worst thing is, I've seen them all, but they're so damn forgettable.

Band Camp, The Naked Mile, Beta House and Book of Love are spin-offs, they're not a part of the American Pie film series, but a part of the "American Pie Presents:" film series (I think).

They share the same "universe". There are mentions to characters and I think events of the main movie series though you won't loose if you haven't seen them.

Soon they're going to have American Retirement.

"Mom!  Grandpa's f*cking the pie again!"

Lmao. I so see them doing that! Anyways I really enjoyed American Reunion and did it say 'save the best piece for last' on the poster/cover so this is a surprise. I haven't seen any of the spin-offs, I heard they're not as good as the originals but apart from that I'm beginning to look forward to American Pie 5.
