I accidentally bought the free car online twice, I don't really need 2 of the same car. At the moment I have one fully customized to my liking and I destroyed the other one, the problem is that if my current car gets blown up I have 2 of the same car waiting in the Mors Mutual Insurance and sometimes I choose the wrong one. I just want it gone forever. Any help, please?

drive the one you don't want into the lake and don't file a claim. replace it with something else in your garage.

You could try selling it at Los Santos Customs.

I can't sell it, and like I said, I have 2 of the same car. If I destroy one and the other one gets destroyed they both come up as 'Elegy RH8'

Bump. Really need to get rid of my ugly ass comet. Tried to sell it, but since you only are allowed to sell cars that are worth up to $50k, the comet i bought is 100k.

That's really lame if you cannot get rid of an insured vehicle.

R* should patch it so you can "Sell" or otherwise remove insurence at los santos customs.

You can simply fill your garage and let it sit there till it is filled, and then replace a car in your garage with a new one to get rid of it.  Before that however, there isn't a way.  This was in a thread not even 20 minutes ago in which we discussed the possibility of adding a feature to allow players to transfer or sell vehicles to one another.

So I have to fill my garage up with more cars I don't want? I'd rather give my car to a friend.

Have you tried going to LS Customs going to the Loss Prevent etc part and deselecting the insurance?

To permanently get rid of an insured car do this (*NOTE* You must have a garage or house with garage to do this):

1) Get at least a 2 star wanted level

2) Let the police kill you

3) Once your car is impounded call your mechanic and request a new car be brought to you

4) Once it tells you that your car in the impound will be destroyed, accept

5) Profit! (Or profit loss in this case lol)

Have you considered donating your unwanted automobile to West Coast Talk Radio?

Making donations to WCTR allows them to continue to talk down to you in a really calm, soothing voice, while at the same time, helps you feel smarter than everyone else who doesn't listen to WCTR.

I honestly don't care about who wants it, it was free and I want it gone.

I don't really see the big problem here. Just keep it until rockstar makes a fix or until you've filled your garage with cars you actually do want.

Yeah, that's the same as destroying it. It goes straight to Mors Mutual Insurance
