I would never do LC tagain after IV or at least not after a few more games but how cool would it be to have it set in late 70s Liberty City? New York was crazy during that time and it would have made a good setting for a GTA.

You have complete creative control. Where is it set. And what is it about?

If I'm calling the shots I would make a GTA game in present time with BOTH Vice City and Las Ventures. ( Vice City brings that Sunny and typical vibe and Las Ventures brings more of a gritty but bright colors )

You start off in Liberty City escaping the cops and you move down to Vice City and 5 years later you get into some trouble and need money and help. As you go through the missions and story you can choose which business type you want to own. The drug life in Vice City or the protection and mafia style of Las Ventures with each providing you with different advantages.

I would improve on V controls in everything and everything that was in V will be in VI ( If that's the one I made ). The countryside with both LV and VC will be different. LV will have 2 or 3 decent size towns and Area 51 while VC countryside will 2 decent size towns and then have the everglades.

Locations:

1. State of San Andreas (Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Blaine County and surrounding areas)

2. State of Liberty (Liberty City, Upstate Liberty, Carcer City, The Carraways and surrounding areas)

3. State of Alderney (and surrounding areas)

4. Vice City (and surrounding areas)

If you want to fly to another location (San Andreas to Liberty) you have to use the plane (State of Liberty and Alderney are linked like IV). The map is open from the start, just like the 3 characters.

Characters (I'm not making the real names and huge details):

1. 'John': His parents got killed in a police pursuit while 'John' was young. He had no other family and his family lived far from Los Santos, Las Venturas, San Fierro and Blaine County because his parents were insane. Homeless at the age of 14, he lived on the streets, getting food and watter from stealing and begging, and getting clothes from trash. He went mentally insane and lost it: at the age of 19 he went to invading homes, robbing people on the streets of the 3 big cities and later murdering. He does this until the age of 36 when the game kicks in.

2. 'Steve': A rich guy from Liberty City. He got everything he ever wanted as kid and teenager: expensive clothes and shoes, big televisions, living in big mansions and fast and expensive cars. As teenager, he got addicted to partying and street racing (which he is really good at) and later drugs like cocaine. His parents find out and tell him they don't want to see or speak to him until he's clean again. 'Steve' fails at this and keeps partying and doing cocaine. Only he has one extra problem now: He is in huge debt with his cocaine man, and if he doesn't give the money, he'll be dead soon. He only has one way to get the money: street racing with his car as bet. Losing means certain death, winning means being able to sell a very expensive, tuned car. He lives with some of his friends, but is suspicious because he's afraid they'll snitch on them for cash. Because why wouldn't they get rid of their friend who does illegal street racing, is addicted to cocaine and only causes trouble in the apartment while getting a huge sum of cash? The came kicks in when he's 20 years old.

3. 'Simon': Living the everyday, normal, boring live. He's simply done with it and wants action. He stays out late, getting drunk and causing trouble by shouting late in the streets. He gets put in jail for throwing in shop windows, making small fires etc. He keeps f*cking up in jail because he has 0 respect for authority and stays in jail for quite a long time. At the age of 43 he gets out because he seems to be 'good' again, but ohhhh he isn't.

I just think that in order for people not to compare it to the PS2 games they need a completely new setting. If they did Vice City we would see a hundred threads about how it is not as good as the PS2 version and how the magic is gone. If they did a completely new location maybe people would finally take off their nostalgia glasses and judge it on it's own merits. It would send the message that the PS2 era is truly over and done with.

I want the setting to be every GTA city in one. We'd have Los Santos being even bigger than it is now, complete with mountains and countryside and everything. Huge map. Then if you drive east through the desert you get to Las Venturras, except it's again much bigger than it was in SA.

North of Los Santos past Chilliad and Sandy Shores and all those places will lead to San Fierro. I want this to be a huge city/beach area with lots of hills. Perfect are to hold races and lots of shopping districts.

If you go northeast of Fierro you'll hit Carcer City. East of that and Venturras you'll find random small towns and forests and lakes and some mountain ranges. This area of the game will be huge. If you take it south it'll lead to the Texas/Mexico/desert region of Red Dead Redemption. Complete with the Tall Trees snowcapped area and everything.

Keep going farther east and you'll eventually get to Vice City, this time reimagined to present day and it'll be a huge map compared to the PS2 game. Hopefully if you take a boat or plane south of Vice City you'll end up hitting a smalled Cuba map.

If you head north you can hit Liberty City, except in bigger scope than before, actually giving the feel of an endless concrete jungle. The entire map altogether should be HUGE! I'd also like to see an expanded Jersey area. Some shady stuff goes down in Jersey. Anyway, Rockstar did wonders on this aging crappy technology for GTA V, I believe they can do even better next gen.

As far as story goes, I'd like to keep the character changing dynamic just to keep the gameplay smooth. This time though, it should be one character for every city. It'll act as a quick-travel device, although you're free to go to the airport and purchase a ticket and instantly fly to another city. Or even better yet, you can just fly the plane yourself and take in the sights.

I'd like to keep the focus on money again, but this time give us lots of stuff to purchase with it. Lot more businesses (including illegal ones), lots of vehicles, etc. I want bank robberies to be dynamic. Give us the opportunity to plan out every aspect of a heist ourselves, outside of any main story mission. Anytime you feel like making bank, call up some people and plan it out yourself. The people you use in heists can level up and become better at their job, etc. Just like GTA V was supposed to be.

I'd like some characters to have their own special ties. Maybe someone from Liberty City is involved in the mafia. You can go along on his journey to becoming a made man. Then dynamics from this can show up in the rest of your gameplay. Maybe that character can hit up some of the other ones for missions involving the mob. The guy in Vice City should be a drug lord, just like Tommy Vercetti. His business ventures can maybe try and expand farther west and that'll effect the other characters as well.

Eventually there should be some struggles in the story. Maybe the Vice City guy ends up encroaching on the Liberty City guy's turf or something. Maybe when his products show up in San Andreas, some of those characters have issues with it. The game should let you pick sides and the story should diverge based on who you prefer to play as.

Something like that would be awesome. That would probably be the best damn GTA game I've ever played if it happened.

If they are going to do Jersey again there has to be a version of Atlantic City. They could have put that in IV. That place is grimy as hell away from the casinos.

GTA 6 in my words.

Location: Vice City, another main city and small towns, in South Florida with surrounding areas, countryside and wilderness.

Time period: Present-day

Protagonist: Cuban-American male in his late 20s, initially a petty drug dealer and street thug. A native of Vice City's Little Havana district.

Theme: Classic rags to riches storyline but with original twists, turns and intriguing plots. Focus is on the drug trade mostly, with political corruption, corporate greed, thrown in. Protagonist has had enough of constantly being at the bottom of the organized crime food chain, and being sn errand boy for drug lords and crime bosses. He aims to create his own drug and criminal empire with the help of a few close friends and allies. This will involve a deadly mix of totally ruthless ambition, murderous instincts, and playing rivals against each other, making carefully calculated power moves and strategies to eventually reach to the top of the Vice City underworld.

Game highlights : Setting up drug deals, trafficking and transporting drugs, buying and selling drugs for profit. Gang wars with rivals fought over drug sales and turf. Stealing/hijacking drug deals and stealing drugs from gangs and their stash houses. Some heists will take place. Buying and owning businesses and properties will play major part in detail. Transporting and dealing drugs will be very complex and vital to the to the protagonist's income. Heavy emphasis on attaining wealth and luxury from crime. Special in-game expenses system that has to be managed properly in order for your crime and legitimate empire and lifestyle to be financially maintained. This means the protagonist must have to constantly make enough money to finance his operations and keep them running.

Characters: The protagonist will have both dealings and conflict with many kinds of gangs, mafias, mobs, corrupt politicians/law enforcement officials/lawyers and unique individuals. Those included will be Cuban crime groups, Colombian drug cartels, Italian-American Mafia, Israeli gangsters, some Russians, Hispanic and African-American street gangs, Hatian and Jamaican gangs, racist Southern white hillbillies, illegal car racers (Fast and Furious style), biker gangs, etc.

Extras: Lots of countryside, farms and wilderness and animals. An abundance of wildlife in the wilderness areas like swamps with alligators. Beautiful coastlines and underwater environment with coral reefs. Smaller Florida Keys-style islands offshore.

I go for modern Vice City. But if not...

Carcer City, we hear it in almost every GTA game and they could base it of Chicago or Detroit.

I like your protagonists. Except for Simon. He's lame, nobody is like that in real life. Should have made him depressed because he lacks action in real life and a pussy. Slowly starts getting into the world of crime because he told some minor drug lord to go f*ck himself on a bar when he was high. Because Simon works in the police stations or somewhere else that representates some sort of advantage to the drug lord, he is obligated to start stealing documents and be called favors or so, till he finally shoots the drug lord and has to ally himself with some other rival drug lord to survive. A bit of a mix between Roman and Fight Club lead character. At least thats how i'd do it.

GTA 6 Crook City: Based off of Chicago in a city called "Calumet" within a country called Crook County within a state called Iroquois. Gang based on turf wars between major street gangs such as the Gangster Apostles, Black Stone Peoples Nation, Viceroys, Spanish Lords, etc and organized crime syndicates. Four protags, a white, a black, a Mexican, and a Puerto Rican since all four groups are apart of Chicago's crime scene. Make the white protag a token Italian for the racist assholes who will complain about the gang being "too black or Hispanic".

GTA 7 Taxco: Base it off of Texas in a state called Taxco. Use Texas prison gangs,  fresh released inmate who expands his gang's reach outside the penitiary. Gangs can be called Mexican Familia, Tanda Blast, Aryan Brand, Taxco Familia, etc. Include the Mexican border, make sure one protag is Mexican American, the second protag is an illegal, the third can be either white or black. It can be the cities of Holster (Houston) and Darling (Dallas) together with a Mexican border down to the south.

Chicago: 2,700,000

Houston: 2,100,000

Dallas: 1,100,000

Miami: 400,000

There is NO WAY Miami being a mid sized city should get done between Chicago and Houston/Dallas.

(Okay this took me 2 1/2 hours to type up so sorry if this is TL;DR but it's a very interesting concept so bear with me)

GTA VI

Set in modern day Hawaii (Hell you could reboot vice city in the form of Honolulu if you want, it's very similar to Miami. Just mostly Asians and Polys instead of mostly Latinos.)

Three or four protags story again

-A 20 something part Filipino part Hawaiian local who is in a family of a violent North Shore surfer gang (based of the Da Hui gang) and petty car thief who usually robs stuff from unsuspecting tourists at the beaches. He now lives in Maui with his uncle for causing so much trouble in Oahu when he was younger.

-A troubled late 20s white dude who is an ex Army war vet who was kicked out due to drugs and DUI charges. Stuck on the island of Oahu with no money to travel back to the mainland US (He hated back home anyways) he hooks up with his local drug dealers he used to roll with and enters the life of crime. (Based off an old army buddy of mine.)

- A 35 year old man who has a loving family but is out of a high paying government job, that landed him and his family on this island, due to a massive layover. Struggling with the economy and the high cost of living, he gets way over his head when he gets involed with some crimminals and the choices he makes and crimes he commit just to provide for his family strains their relationship dramatically.

-(if R* wanna take that bold step) A 27 year old Hawaiian female who is a distant relative of the first protag I listed and an affiliate of the surfer gang also. Who was a bartender at a local biker gang bar on the Big Island. A year ago she was beaten and nearly raped by two bikers but fought her way through. She vowes to get revenge on them.

The game has different islands including Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Big Island, Molokai, and Neehau. And each island unlocks as the story progresses.

The terrarin ranges from

-the overcrowded city of Honolulu (along with the HEAVY traffic),

-tourist ridden Waikiki by day and sprawling nightlife, prostitution and drugs by night.

- non mainlander friendly, localized towns like Waianae

-suburbs of Kapolei and rich neighborhoods of Kahala and Hawaiia Kai

-HUGE mountain ranges for hiking, dirt bike riding, BASE jumping , etc. and jungles to explore.

- Beaches galore, with very advanced ocean wave physics ( you bet surfing is in hehe)

-Volcanos active and inactive to explore

-LOTS of Countryside and ranches for horse back riding

-Many many many military bases to explore and raid (you think Ft. Zancudo was hard?)

-Rivers and swamps too.

Activities will include:

-Shooting range
-Street Racing
-Drag Racing
-Jet ski racing
-Watersports such as surfing, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, stand up paddle, kayaking, etc.
-drug dealing and making/growing (pot and meth)
-drug using
-underground gambling
-underground cock fights (chickens, you sick f*cks)
-pimping
-taxi missions
-EMT rescue
-Lifeguarding
-Vigilante
-Clubbing and bar hopping (booty calls are back)
-Pick pocketing
-Pawning
-Burgerlies
-Store robberies
-Two big bank robbery missions
-Street fighting
-Gang wars
-photography
-Spec-Op missions
-Fishing
-Spearfishing
-Diving
-Buisness management
-Property owning and renting out houses.
-Extreme sports like Basejumping, skydiving, wing suits, rock climbing and rappelling.
-Car collecting
-Farm management (you heard me....shoot them mofos stealing your special "crops"! Lol)

The best one I've read so far.

Vice City.

80s again.

Bigger. More music. All that is in V and more for minigames and activities.

Do all of the things that couldn't be done last time.

Nod all the same movies and stuff, nod even more. Go as deep as IV and V in the lore, bring it to a whole new level. It's been long enough, it would be fresh no matter how close it was, due to how new and how much bigger the entire experience would be.

How can Vice City be much bigger though? Miami is not a big city, there are 400,000 people in the city of MIA and Miami is more of a tourists place that many people who permanently move to end up finding disappointing similar to Vegas. Ive been to Miami numerous times, I know. It don't make sense at all for a small Miami to get GTA 6 over bigger places like Chicago/Texas. More gangs more crime in Chicago/Texas than Miami. And Chicago is murder capital of the country right now so strike when the iron is hot. Do yall factor in crime, gang activity, city size, and social conditions when yall pick these locations?

Modern day Vice City, but big enough to go all the way north to the West Palm Beach area, and west to get to the swamps/everglades, and south enough to get to the Florida Keys. It would give you some huge variety compared to just Miami/Vice City.

3 protagonists:

-Retired guy in early 60s (north of Miami)

-Black guy living in the ghetto of Vice City

-Rich white guy living in the Keys

But you say that because of the nostalgia that Vice City left you, probably you won't enjoy it no where near as you did with VC. That's some people don't realize, that well, nostalgia has a play on you, and many things seem rather better, more interesting, more enjoyable in the past. It won't be the same ever, might not be a bad game 80's properly realized vice city, some mafia story. But if you look at it, San Andreas, is considered by many the best GTA if not the best game ever, GTAV comes out, pretty much a sequel to san andreas, and it is getting nowhere near the praise of SA, some even go further and say SA was way better.. It's like smack, first hit, wonderful, the rest you just try to recreate that first, but you can't seem to get that hype again..

If I call the shots it would be in Chicago... but I've thought more about what would be included in Vice City, so that's what I'm going with for this topic.

I wont get too far into it or this would turn into a 1000 word essay but here's teh basics:

Vice City would now include the everglades and surrounding area.

Everglades would be explorable via atvs, airboats, kayaks, and many more options. There would be tons of prime offroading near the swamps, including partially flooded trails that would send mud flying everywhere. Animals would include alligators, snakes, herons, and more. The city would be bright and paradise-like. Beautiful skyscrapers and buildings. Crystal clear water and white sandy beaches. Peds doing activities and jet skiing, scuba diving, and beach volleyball. Many interiors, but all interiors having a purpose or point, not just empty staircases.

lol this is true, they have no imagination at all and can never think ahead holding the franchise back from expanding. They boys scared as hell to venture out like some little kids who don't want to leave their momma's home. Reactive ass fans who wait until Rockstar decides to create a city before considering it a "good location". Some of these dudes question whether or not Chicago, Texas, Philly, or some other place could host GTA only because it hasn't been done. If GTA VC were never created, they'd probably never consider Miami either. And had Chicago or Texas been made in GTA VC's place, they'd all be riding Chicago's or Texas' dick for a reboot. Like I said, "reactive" fans. SOme dudes just don't have that proactive ability to think of new places. Some people are even naming bumf*ck  North Yankton for a GTA why? Because they're only comfortable naming places already created.

Vice City, Mid-Late 80s. Vice City much larger, stretches down to the keys, up to Larderdale and Orjana. Plus the Everswamps. More music, more talk radio, etc, 300 vehicles. If that's not original enough:

Las Venturas and the surrounding desert, 60s-70s. Stretches from Venturas to Pallas in the state of New Austin, and Mormon Sea City in the state of Haute.

Reimagined Vice city to include New Orleans as a 2nd city... Call it Old Creole... Have swamps, marshes, and the Gulf of Mexico in between and the Florida keys.

I didn't think R* would make their return to San Andreas successful... but they certainly have. So I'd like to see a bigger brashier glitzier Vice City next time around.

SET: Vice City + surrounding countryside + an island based on Columbia (and maybe some small caribbean islands)

TIME: early-mid 80s

PROTAGS: two

STORY:

The protagonist (the first playable) works for a guy like Ricardo Diaz which runs a big criminal organization in the drug business.

For some reason his boss (the drug kingpin) wants to see him dead.

He gives him an assignment to do a drug deal down in Columbia where he walks right into a trap. (deal goes down somewhere in the outlands/jungle/remote beach)

The protag gets shot, blown up by a bomb while confined or something else. Thinking he's dead, the killers drive away.

He awakes/gets safed by someone and starts over with nothing than a gun, a few dollars and a new name.

At the beginning of the game you're only able to travel around the islands, till you got some money and met the second protag which is a latin american small-time criminal and wants to live the dream and become a big shot in vice city.

They rip somebody off (the boss from a small columbian criminal organization) and steal some cash + a few kilos cocaine, to get into the business when arrived in Vice City.

Doing missions for local criminals and getting bigger in the Vice City's underground the two protags build up their own organization.

But while this is happening the drug kingpin from the beginning (former boss of protag 1) gets suspicions of the mysterious new big shots in town.

Also the ripped off criminal form Columbia didn't forget what happend and seeks for revenge.

I know this maybe sounds a bit like the stories we already had but I think R* knows how to do it...

THINGS I'D LOVE TO SEE:

> building up a criminal organization like in Vice City Stories, but much deeper involved in the story and much more "detailed", where you have to plan every activity (buy a little house for your business / then a little airport / fly down to columbia for buying drugs or weapons / dicide how much dope you want and how much you want to pay for it (different sources?) / where you gonna wash your earned money (safe and expensive or cheap and more risky) / bribe the cops / later you can pay someone to do the flights/dealing on the street/dirty work for you / etc)

> more interiors

> big countryside like V

> heists like V (but no big bank jobs)

> great soundtrack

> like someone said before: being able to do all the things we couldn't do the last time

Haven't got any more time now...

Maybe I'll continue this later... ;)

A ONE character driven story set in R*'s version of Chicago (You can call it Carcer city or whatever.) in which one man is stuck in between the grounds of making easy money through nefarious means or doing the right thing.

Current Day Southern UK.  From Dover, to London, all the way over to Bristol.  Coast to coast.

As for radio goes, it would be modern radio with almost every major genre represented with your own custom tracks out the gates... I like the idea of people picking their favorite tunes like SA:PC did.

I'd say focus on a stoner and his girlfriend as they go from college students to small time pot dealers all the way up to major international shipments of coke/heroin.  Have all sorts of interesting story possibilities with the dynamic that would come with playing as both sides, and would definitely make the player choose who to side with at some points, and have that heavily alter the gameplay.

Yeah, I like that idea.

Location: Melody City in Hog County in the state of Aid (yes, a play on Nashville, TN (Tennessee being the volunteer state and thus state of aid)

Time: Present to near-future.

Setting: Melody City and surrounding Hog Country (with smaller towns about). Most of it is wood-lands and forests with cave systems through it, a few large lakes connected by rivers and streams (yes not a sea side setting). Around the country side there are smaller towns, every area having different style clothing (more hunting geared clothing in the country side, business atire in the upscale parts of the city and such). The county is pretty much controlled by the gangs, who extort the music companies, who in turn extort their employees and signed musicians.

Protaginist: A female born in a rural cummunity (this being GTA it means drinking, driving cars that might not be yours and shooting guns as hobbies). Arrives in Melody City to become a music star (player's choice on genre) and quickly discovers its corruption. Instead of being bowled under like others she stands up and fights back with plans to try and change it. Player actions can determine what eventually happens, taking over everything and either changing it or exploiting it for her advantage.

-Features-

Sports (including but not limited to pool, basket ball, soccer, tennis, golf, dodge ball, paintball, football)

Assassinations (two styles, ones where you are given the plans of what to do and ones which you set up)

Racing

Drug dealing

Pimping and/or Prostitution (possible method of assassination)

Heists (both of music companies to get originals and banks to take cash from said companies)

Relationships/dating (can enter relationships with certain people (men and women) that can eventually lead to...)

Weddings (Your own and other people's. More money equals bigger wedding, certain prospective spouses will be disappointed with certain styles)

Repossessions

Evictions

Hunting

Ability to buy off the cops

Give critisim and additions as pleased.
