Everything about GTA online has been a disappointment, from lack of purchaseable houses to the replica apartment interior to the 700x rinse and repeat drive to, pick up, drop off missions. To the missions happening in a seperate, controlled session.

Its been a huge disappointment. Rockstar have put a damper on everything that could be amazing.

But here comes the heist about in 2-4 weeks.

This is how it will be a huge fail.

1) Heists will happen in a seperate, controlled & private session. Just like missions (No interation with outside players).

2) Heists will only have two options, go in loud or silent. I lol @ their promotion that you will be able to plan your own heist. Look how that turned out in single player? Its the same thing people.

3) There will be no planning. Just you picking your crew and assigning them to already predefined tasks.

4) Heists will only extend to few places (how many banks and jewery stores are there like 2?)

TLDR = It will be a failure.

But here is how heist should play out.

1) It should happen in the same public session with every one else not like missions. But like store robberies.

2) There should be multiple excution points. Just the first heist in single player where you go through the roof. The key here is Rockstar designing the buildings to allow multiple entrances and hidden entries into the banks and jewery store. With each entry having a purpose to your getaway in association to how fast you get your 4 star wanted level.

For example, windows should be breakable so you can climb in the building.

The roof vents should be destroyable so you can get in from the top.

Secret doors from the outside like in the parking lot that can gain you access to the building. Etc.

3) with #2 you can now be able to plan your heist and getaway to the T. Do you want to drop in with a helicopter and get in through the roof or side window?

4) It shouldn't be only banks and jewery. But other corporate business building and random events  or shipments coming in. Like life-invader, casino, etc.Giving us option.

Pray to god that rockstar would wake the f*ck up and read this post!

But don't get your hopes up. I personally know this this forum will be filled with "Heists are a joke" in the coming 2-4 weeks.

If you're expecting the gtao heists to be as detailed as the SP ones, you're setting yourself up for disappointment

Look bro. from what we have seen already. you would be an idiot to expect otherwise.

We have seen missions taken place in a separate session. Am I right?

Okay.

And then Rockstar bombarded us with the fact we will be able to "plan our own heist" in the multiplayer.

How did that turn out?

Okay then.

You see my point.

Don't get your hopes up.

This.

Plus your first point is not a good one. Can you imagine doing a complicated heist with you buddies and some dumb prick keeps griefing you causing you to constantly fail. It would be far worse than you think it is now.

I never claimed my hopes were up.  I was giving you simple advice, to prevent yourself from looking like a fool in a possible future outcome.

Thats what I'm saying.  But you will see have people bitching that "this sh*t ain't no heists"

The sad part is that it could be as detailed as the SP ones if Rockstar wanted  it to be.

Just like they replaced the breakable gates to unbreakable at the army base and at the airport. They can easily make the banks have breakable windows or the jewery store have destroyable roofs. etc.

Thats my point. Its easily doable. But will rockstar do it? All they want is CONTROL CONTROL it seems.

That's what the invite only private session is for.

But heists you do with your crew.

Let me ask you this. Do you have trouble robbing a convient store by yourself? Exactly you don't.

Its the same way with heists. You have a crew with different tasks. You have had one or two with snipers outside.

While your other memeber of your crew is inside doing the bidding.

So again it bring a whole dynamic to heists. unless heists would be lame. There will be no interference. Nothing. You might aswell go play missions. because thats exactly how missions are.

You shouldnt be able to easily execute a heist and get off with 25-100,000 grand. It should be hard and take precise planning, stake out and execution.

Wow... someone has not done their research.

Literally everything you have said about heists (except the Mission Session part) has been false. Opposite, in fact. You CAN use a helicopter for escape, or an adder, or a damn bicycle if you want. You CAN assign snipers outside. Or Rocket Launchers, or knifers if you want. Need I go on?

Here is why the heists are going to be a fail....

You're going to show up at the location of the heist, go inside, shoot guys, grab money (or whatever you're stealing) and then escape and lose cops.

Sound familiar?  It's going to be just like any other mission you can do right now in GTA Online.  You go someplace, shoot some bad guys, pick something up, then lose cops.  Basic.  Sure, I understand there will be a little bit a flair in some small instances... but that's the jist

I don't think it'll be a fail. I'm glad Rocktar didn't release Heists along with GTA Online on October 1st. They'd be broken as hell, just like GTA Online is now (or atleast a huge part of it).

IMO Rockstar are polishing the heists now so we don't get disappointed with them.

OP, you seem more like a blind fool.

Mainly because you are comparing a Singleplayer Activity to a Multiplayer one, I mean seriously THINK first.

1. Multiplayer will actually require PLANNING, why?

Because if you decided to join, well let's say a 4 man Heist mission and you go running in like  a moron and shooting everything without a care in the world, it can back-fire.

Here is an Example.

Let's say you and 3 other friends are willing to do a Heist, and you guys just started it up, now one of your friends decides to be a jack-ass and run inside the bank and trigger the alarms.

Well now you have a 5-Star Wanted level and FBI and other law enforcement will lock-down the exits and entrances or they will probably be outside waiting.

Now let's say if you and your 3 friends actually PLANNED it, you can probably kill the cashier and the guards with silenced pistols and hold some people hostage and not trigger the alarm, and get away with no stars.

So YES this Heist DLC will actually be fantastic and fun, it simply depends upon whether or not you play with reliable players that actually know what they are doing.

You can always create your own game and add everything you want and how you want it, or you can just do your dreamed heist in real life, if you are successfull and don't die or go to prision, report back here at GTAForums so we can applause you. :)

99% of missions in GTA IV were Drive here, grab this, kill people, drive back. Yet people deep throat the hell out of that game.

All seriousness, what do you expect a hiest to be? Steal a fleet of jets from Zancudo, crash them into the bank making a huge hole inside. Holding the cops off while someone grabs all the cash. Extracting in a buzzard and taking on a air battle in the skies, dropping out and skydiving onto a train where you make your swift escape and making $25,000,000? No.

I expect the heists to have the same amount of creativity as the Payday game heists. But a lot more hollywood movie-like flair and spectacle. They should be quite fun.

You can set a Hacker , Gateway Driver , Gunman .

And Heists will be for 6 Players .

1 Hacker , 1 Driver , 4 Gunmans .

And Yeah It will be like Missions .

Even They will create more heists ..

Because Rockstar Have Mission Creator ( They Won't Release it ) , which They Can Set Mission Type .. Drugs , Heists .. etc .

And Heists Will Need a Contact .. Which is Martin or Lester .

Now There a Heist , Called " Ortane Bank Heist "

Which You Will Steal Some Gold , And it will be from Lester ..

Oh, the same f*cking arguments...

"OMGOMG PEOPLE DEEPTHROATED THE HELL OUF OF GTA IV OMGOMG"

"SHUT THE f*ck UP YOU LITTLE KID, YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH SWAG FOR GTA YOLOBITCHJUSTINBIEBERISTEHsh*t!!!FOURFOUR4444"

"IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE GAME, DON'T PLAY IT BITCHFAGCALLOFDUTYFAN"

etc.

Seriously, you fanboys should start realizing that the game only gets better if people COMPLAIN, and POINT OUT problems/flaws in it. If we don't, then Rockstar keeps f*cking everything up -- clearly, their Quality Assurance team is made up from space monkeys without eyes and hands --, so the series will just simply go down the drain.

As far as I know, Rockstar is constantly patching the game. Instead of being a complete jackass, just direct people like the OP to the e-mail address where he could write about his problems regarding the game... close-minded pricks.

Silenced guns are really not effective in this game though. That's where your theory fails IMO.

Yeah... You'll be stealing gold, and sh*t, even though Rockstar is trying to give you the least amount of cash they could for jobs and other stuff online, so you'll pay with real money...

Doubt they'll get away with making Heists a low profit. They should make them decently difficult to pull off, but with a good and coordinated crew, completely doable and fun with a nicely high payout.

The cash cards are silly.
