No-one wants to do missions now, the patch turned it into a sub-par racing game.  And when you join a race 9 times out of ten its Criminal Records or Down the Drain.  Whoever came up with the idea to nerf mission cash was an absolute idiot.

This is spot on. Basically, whatever you chose to do, they should have tried to make RP and cash proportional to the amount of time it takes - assuming races are 1 lap. I think you can get about 10k in a minute on down the drain and about 4k RP. I've got no problem with the longer races paying well, but creating a system that encourages people to farm the most boring circuits isn't a great idea.

Just played a mission after the 1.05 update and nothing has changed :-( Payouts still suck pony sh*t!

This is very disappointing. As a mission oriented player myself, and have barely touched races, it pains me to see people able to gain cash/RP so quickly in comparison... Some balance would be nice, but one can't always get what they want.

The reason you got 23 is because it's the first time you beat it.  The low level guy got 11K because he wasn't high enough level to have that mission unless he got invited by someone who is.  the next time you beat that mission, you will only get 11.5K

I feel the same. Also, whilst I like there are races there to dip into, that's not what GTA is all about for me. GTA is about crime and gangsters - so missions should be the core. My only hope is they've really nerfed them to make heists seem more valuable when the come out. I guess we won't mind so much if we can be effectively earning a six figure sum from mega-missions.

The thing that really annoys me though, is that if you want to join a race 95% of the time it is down the drain or criminal records, and no one wants to do one of the more interesting tracks. They ought to nerf the payouts for the shorter more boring tracks to atleast encourage some variety.

I hope Rockstar realizes that 'Replay' for races is super lame. After two races of down the drain or criminal records, i have to switch lobbies.

I swear the 'typical gamer' nowadays is a f*cking grind-happy brainwashed, no skill or imagination pussy.

I hope they take out 80% of voting too. Half the time spent waiting online is just a finished lobby waiting for one last person not paying attention to 'like' or 'dislike' a frikken racetrack? Really? Thats what i am waiting for?

My suggestions:

1.Get rid of voting for like/dislike/no vote
2. On the voting screen for whats next, only give the option to 'replay' once or twice. Anything beyond that is just repetitive and makes you realize youre sitting in a lobby with fools who only want to 'rank up' and not experience any of the actual game rockstar has created for us.

Figured out why the Lawyers car is worth 22k in Out of Court Settlement - it's got bullet proof tyres.

Bullet proof tyres cost 25k, you get half back on any mods when you sell a car, i.e. 12.5k. The Felon GT as standard is 9.5k, add that together and that's your £22k. I believe that makes Out of Court Settlement the most valuable replay option, especially as it is easy to do on your own - wait until the guy is stopped at the lights, and auto-shotgun him.

I'm supporting R* as much as I can, and I'm hoping that once Heists/more missions are added we'll see things like races be abysmal as far as pay goes, but if not...
We can only hope, I guess.

Sometimes you want a rematch. Down the drain and criminal records are horrible once you've played them a couple hundred times.

Why not give a cash & rp reward for playing different tracks. I'd rather see things added than taken away.

In fact, the commute pays better than down the drain. It gets overplayed too, but I'm not completely sick of that one.

Yeah, Beach Bum Pack might have new missions, and the latest update changes the payouts so this whole thing might need another revision.

Updated the original post to reflect this. Will double check myself just to make sure, though, when I get time. Thank you!

edit: Seems no cars can be stored in a vehicle (that have to do with missions) anymore... Just checked on "Check Out Time"

Yup, what a shame. I understand stopping the glitching but this is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned. These cars should be sellable. I didn't try the car from cop capacity. I know you end up in it after the mission so theoretically you could still sell it. I just ain't gonna do that mission and then get shafted by R*

I have a question about the Simeon car deliveries. Can you only deliver a car to him when he sends a text with a car list or are you able to deliver any of those cars at any time, even if you don't receive a text from him in the game session you're in?

You need to get the text from Simeon
When you get in one of the cars he wants you get 2 stars and instructions
The list expires when you get a text from Simeon saying the cars are no longer needed
He gives you a call in between too.

I just got this car list from Simeon:According to the Car Sales Topic, the Serrano is worth the most at $6,000 for normal Mod Shop sales.

I drove round for ages but didn't find any of them. These cars have been spawning all the time this week...but stop as soon as Simeon wants them!

Instead, a High Priority Vehicle appeared so I went and got that. And got blown up by lamers camping outside LSC with sticky bombs. Sigh. This is why I don't bother with Simeon's missions. Barely worth the money and certainly not worth the hassle.

I will be adding the amount of RP given for the difficulty "Hard" only!

I've been keeping tabs on the amount of cash each job gives me, and this is what we've come up with so far.

Notes:

Payouts are post 1.4 update!
WIP
RP may differ due to crew/full team bonus

Car Deliveries = Simon's texts, NOT selling a car to LSC

If it is your first time doing the mission, your payout will be double what I have it at.

Green = Cash / Red = Level Requirement / Blue = RP
