Methinks the OP is just sore that it's now been confirmed by Rockstar that the mechanic he was defending in another post is actually a bug.
I'm not sore... well maybe a little, lol. It's just that I like how free roam is when it comes to losing money due to deaths. IMO it makes it more realistic. I enjoy that feeling of "Oh sh*t someone's getting to close, I wonder if they're going to try some sh*t." It makes me think "do I engage or don't I? If I do and I die i'm going to lose some money, but if I kill em and get away then it's all good in the hood. I got them before they got me."
If there's no punishment i'ma be like "fu*k it... if I die oh well I didn't lose anything."
