I've been playing online on and off and all has been sweet.  Now my character is deleted, that's cool... I'm only farming cash anyway.  But now I've gone to play some single player and Michael's weapons wheel is completely empty.  Franklin and Trevor have their weapons, but not Michael!

Did you pass the tutorial and finished the first race mission? I think it's not deleted, until a message appears "File is corrupted".

I'm not worried about the online toon as it kept my cash.  I was rank 12 so I had done the tutorial.

 

Just annoyed I had to buy all new weapons on SP

I haven't played online yet so I can't say for sure, but later in the story

Michael will be stripped of his arsenal automatically (similar to SA when CJ ended up in the country)

. Otherwise I have no clue.

I have also found Michael stripped of his weapons except a micro SMG with 16 ammo, 1 clip.

Happened to me too instead of michael it was franklin

I tried this but when i wanted to replay that mission all my weapons were suddenly gone also all my money so I gave it up. Thankfully when loading my latest save all my money was back - cars at Franklins house as well but all my weapons are still gone. So i guess I have to re purchase those?

Happened to me in single player.  I've never played online.

This also happened to me but it was Franklin.   You aren't alone.
